Hi, Im Dr. Marita Smith. I was born in Russia and my family and I immigrated to the United States in 1992. I attended dental school at New York University, completing my DDS degree in 2011. After that, I did my General Practice Residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, which is a Level 1 Trauma Center. I then went on to complete my Pediatric Dental training at St. Barnabas Hospital, which is also a Level 1 Trauma Center. Through my training at St. Barnabas Hospital, I had the privilege to treat patients at the Rose F. Kennedy Center for Children and Adults with Special Needs. My husband, Brad, and I live in Rockland County, with our two boys, Dylan and Jordan.
I am a Board Certified pediatric dentistand am dedicatedtoproviding the highest quality dental care for children frominfancy through adolescence in a warm andfriendly environment. As a mother of two,I know how important it is for a childto be comfortable and stress-free during theirdental visits. It is important to me that all children receive the best possible care in a way that is fun and pleasant. I place great focus onprevention and my goal is to keep your childssmile healthy!

Not a bad dental office but the staff brings the business DOWN!!!!! I had five appointments booked and knew I won't make it on time so I called the office for a later visit (30minutes)!!!! I was informed by AVA there were no later appointments but I can arrive 15 minutes late based on policy rules now ava's attitude was HORRIBLE OK. so now I wanna reschedule and she's telling me they have new rules and my family will be broken up for the new appointments...... Long story short I asked for a supervisor (tonya) who informed me of the same new rules and of course ava is mouthing off in the background ( very professional) I then asked for HR and was told AVA is that person!!! SMDH I won't be taking my kids to this place ever!!!!!

We were looking for a sensory friendly dentist for my special needs son. Our first appt was a cleaning, the staff was amazing! They eased his fears while doing the X-ray. The exam rooms are so fun! He loves that each visit he has been in a different themed room. The dentist is so patient and sweet, explains what needs to be done and talks to the child. He's had two appts of dental work and used laughing gas. The dentist talked to him throughout the dental work which I'm sure helped him stay nice and calm. No complaints of pain or any issues after. Definitely will recommend to others.

Been their patient for a while. was good until My 4 year old needed a tooth extracted and the dentist just takes the easy way out and tells me that she doesn't extract "baby teeth" had to go look for a new dentist and pay cash $1300 because nobody would take me right away for an extraction if I've not been a patient their. Not a safe and trustful place to take care of real dental needs :(

Thank you Smiths Little Smiles, for such wonderful care! I had a Dental emergency with my daughter, and got a response from them within 5 minutes after my call, and this was after hours, Evening time! They were super accommodating and we are so grateful!! Thank You!!

Dr . Smith was rude and very careless when discussing a treatment plan for my children . She also billed insurance wrong procedures which they denied and then called me to pay for it . Don't don't suggest her at all she should be banned from dealing with children and learn to communicate and not dictate what must be done or else "I don't do this" . My children also had mouth pain for a week after the numbing shot ... wondering if she knows what she's doing ? We never had such dental experience before moving .

Extremally unhappy with the service. My son gave a move on the chair and when I called them back for an emergency they till me he was uncooperative and needs to do sedation when I tell them I can't because he has asthma they say to bad. Would never go there. They are nice and sweet and nice office but no service.

Highly highly recommend Smith's Little Smiles Pediatric Dentistry!! My son wouldn't open his mouth for any other Dentist before we found Dr. Smith... now he's excited to go & doesn't want to leave when it's over! Dr. Smiths entire approach from the second she walks in the room is top notch.. she makes my son feel SO comfortable and listens to him when he gets anxious and eases him into the visit! We travel an hour to this office & it is absolutely worth the drive! *plus we were in and out within 10 minutes, what parent wouldn't love that!?*

Well I must say I have been taking my 8 children here for years and Doctor smith and her staff make you feel like family. I have not one complaint and I have never reviewed anyone before but I recommended her to someone who pointed out some bad reviews they have received. That cannot be the case. Everyone whom I send here loves it from the cartoons to the gifts when the children leave. My kids were always scared of the dentist and now they are not. I just wish they did adults. Don't believe everything you read. I will always take my children here and continue to recommend them. Front desk workers in a medical setting tend to veer to the rude side but not here. Before the masks they would always great you with the biggest smile.

Dr. Smith and staff are so patient, kind and amazing! The whole process of going to the dentist was made easy by everything the office has to offer. The receptionist's are sweet and I have no trouble getting appointments, the waiting room walls are filled with games, the TVs on ceilings are a favorite, the patient and gentle hygienist, and of course Dr. Smith who keeps my little one calm and gets the job done! Best part my kids look forward to going to the dentist now!! Best office around!!
