Dr. Zane Wayland Berry received his undergraduate education from the College of William and Mary. Dr. Berry went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.He completed his residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Langley Air Force Base.
After serving as a dentist in the United States Air Force Dental Corps for two years, Dr.Berrycontinued his education at the New York University School of Dentistry, where he earned his certificate in dentofacial orthopedics and orthodontics.
Dr.Berryis a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Dental Association. He has won a Top Dentist award in the orthodontic category in Coastal Virginia Magazine for over 5 years in a row.
Liz is a financial coordinator at Smithfield Orthodontics. She works on behalf of patients to submit claims and take advantage of the full extent of their insurance benefits. In her spare time, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters, horseback riding and binging on Netflix.
Ashley has worked in the orthodontic field since 2000 and joined the Smithfield Orthodontics team as the practice manager in 2018. She is a registered dental hygienist and has extensive training with Invisalign. She has always loved working with patients during treatment and seeing the smile transformations. In her free time, Ashley loves spending time with her family, being outdoors, visiting museums with her boys, traveling and relaxing at home watching movies.
Carol is the scheduling coordinator at Smithfield Orthodontics. She loves getting to know new patients and see how they grow and change throughout their treatment. She enjoys getting to meet new people all of the time. In her spare time, Carol treasures spending time with her husband and daughter watching movies, hanging out at the pool and beach and crafting.
Shantel is a certified and registered dental assistant and serves as an orthodontic technician for Smithfield Orthodontics. She loves interacting with patients and making sure they feel comfortable and confident in their treatment and have a full understanding of the process. She enjoys taking braces off and seeing the joy and confidence that the patients have throughout the treatment. In her spare time, Shantel coaches cheerleading and enjoys watching her kids play soccer and exploring Virginia.
