Dr. Jerry is a beloved member of the community. He isaBoard Certified Orthodontist which is a very honorable distinction. Less than 25% of orthodontists are Board Certified so when you are being treated by Dr. Jerry, youre being treated by one of the top orthodontists in the country. He has been in private practice since 1987, and is an active member of many leading dental and orthodontic organizations.
A native of Marietta, GA, Dr. Jerry graduated from Wheeler High School and Georgia State University (Cum Laude with distinction in Biology). He received his Doctorate degree in Dentistry at the Medical College of Georgia graduating 2nd in his class. He pursued two additional years of training in his Orthodontic residency at LSU School of Dentistry. He was elected to the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and has written articles for scientific and clinical journals.
Dr. Jerry believes communication and patient involvement assure the best orthodontic treatment. He believes an informed patient is a motivated patient. He encourages questions, comments, or suggestions at any time.
Dr. Jerry and his wife Becky have six children: Ryan, Ali, Kathryn, Harrison, Jack and Creed. He is an active member of St. Peter Chanel Catholic Church, where he has taught Sunday school for 5 years. In his spare time, he enjoys playing with his kids, tennis, and swimming.
'I have worked for Dr. Jerry since 2005 in a variety of capacities and enjoy the ability I have to interact with patients and their families. I am passionate about Smith Smile Orthodontics and love keeping Dr. Jerry involved in our community and local schools.
In life outside of the office, I get to enjoy being Dr. Jerry 's wife and mother to our 6 children: Ryan, Ali, Kathryn, Harrison, Jack and Creed and our Labradoodle 'Molli'. In my spare time, I enjoy sporting activities with my kids, travelling and cheering on the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs!'
I joined the Smith Smile team in 2016. I have had the pleasure of meeting new people every day and I enjoy getting to know our patients and their families throughout their treatment. My favorite part of my position is watching smiles change and confidence grow.

I have been working in the orthodontic field since 2012 and I absolutely love what I do! I've been surrounded by orthodontics all my life and have several family members in the profession, hence I grew a passion for it at a very young age. I have 2 dogs, Sophie & Millie who I love so much! In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, doing anything outdoors and spending time with my husband, family and friends
I have been in the orthodontic field since 2010 and have been with Smith Smile since 2016. I enjoy meeting and creating relationships with each and every patient. Being able to witness the amazing changes that happen throughout treatment is one of my favorite things about being in this field.
I joined the Smith Smile team in 2017 after receiving my Expanded Duties Certification and I love being able to continue my education at work every day! I'm a native of Woodstock, and in my free time I enjoy boating, hiking, and reading, as well as attending concerts (all genres) and baseball games.
I have been in the dental field since 2013 and joined the Smith Smile team in 2019. My favorite thing about my job is helping my patients understand and feel confident with their treatment plan, so it is a positive and exciting experience for them.

Dr. Smith and his sweet staff are THE BEST. Me and my 2 sisters all completed our ortho treatment with him and wouldn't have pick anyone else! Such a great practice! We only have great things to say. So grateful for them! :)

my son and I both got braces at the same time from Smith smile Orthodontics. We can't recommend them enough. They are very detail-oriented and gentle as well. A fantastic combination. Their precautions during the pandemic are the best I've seen. Beautiful office and great location as well. And pricing was really good compared to other places we talked to

AMAZING Dr. Smith and staff! I was so worried when my son's teeth started coming in on top of each other but Dr. Smith and his wonderful staff walked me through the treatment and took the time to answer all of my questions and make my son and I feel very welcomed and comfortable. They have accommodated us every time while scheduling my son's appointments. My son actually LIKES going to the orthodontist!

I just love Dr. J and his entire staff. Both of my kids have been patients...then it was my turn. 20 years after having braces, my teeth have moved a tad and I am currently in a 6 month treatment. I can't wait to get my beautiful smile back. They even provide you with proper oral care, including a waterpik! And the day I got my braces on, I got a call later that evening from Dr. J, himself, to see how I was doing. That speaks volumes to how much they care. So happy we found them!

The entire staff at Smith's mile is simply incredible at making everyone feel welcome and answering all of your questions! Not only was my son calm and thrilled but all of my questions were answered thoroughly! I cannot think Smith smile enough!
