Dr. Bryan G. Sicher, DMD, is committed to professional excellence through perpetual education, clinical training, and team development. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry, and a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is is a native of Kane, Pennsylvania, and graduated from Westminster College with a B.S. in Biology. After graduating from the Temple University School of Dentistry he joined the Navy and served with the 2nd Marine Division and later aboard the USS Fulton. He also worked in private practice in Stafford, Virginia, before discovering Smith Mountain Lake. Dr. Sicher opened his practice at the lake in 1989 and moved to his current facility in 2001.
Our staff has a combined 70 years of experience in the dental profession. We are here to help you achieve your goals and to provide caring dental care, answering any questions you may have and assisting you in any special needs or concerns. Each day the staff looks at the schedule and prepares for your visit to insure that you receive the attention you deserve and to make the most out of every visit.

There is no better dentist than Dr Sicher. I was a hygienist and an assistant in my early years. I've know many dentists from both sides of the chair. He is compassionate and so smart. Dr.'s staff are the most loving caring people I've ever known. I've never felt as at ease as he makes me. I have complete confidence in he and all who work for him. You pay for what you get here....excellence!

Dr. Bryan Sicher, Shannon, Lisa and his entire staff are the most thorough and professional dental experts SML has to offer. Dr. Sicher takes the time to ensure that his patients receive the optimum in dental care. He and his staff are both professional and empathetic to the needs and goals of their patients. Dr. Sicher has trained his staff to educate his patients to reach desired results on a preventive and maintenance regime. Being new to the area, I could not have chosen a better dental practice, with such a pleasant, clean, and friendly concerned atmosphere.

I have had the pleasure of taking my Mom, friend, and now I am a patient. Such a professional and caring staff. During the covid I felt very safe and they were so cautious and definitely followed the guidelines. I have to drive an hour but will continue because it is so worth it. They feel like family!

I have been a patient here for seven years. Over that period I have had numerous procedures done, from regular cleaning to caps to a recent root canal. Dr. Sicher has a very well equipped office and has done excellent work for me. I recommend this practice.

Excellent practice. We moved 1400 miles away and come back to Dr. Sicher and his practice. The staff is incredibly professional, with all being long term in the practice.

The staff is always so welcoming! I have been a patient with Dr. Sicher for about 16 years! They are the best! They have always been extremely clean. With the Covid-19 virus impacting us they have taken every precaution possible to keep patients protected!! Highly recommend them!!!

I am a new patient with Dr. Sicher, and I am very impressed with his practice and staff. Options have been explained to me very thoroughly, the hygienists are gentle and thorough, and everyone is friendly. I visited Dr. Sicher's office last week for my 6 month cleaning and, as always, the staff and work they do is top notch. The new safety precautions they have in place are so comforting and gave me peace of mind going in for my dental appointment. I have been a patient there for 17 years and I drive almost an hour to come here because they are the best! In the past, Dr. Sicher corrected my bite to stop me from my nighttime teeth grinding and it worked. Dr. Sicher and his office have changed with the times and I always feel like they have the most current training and information to provide the best dental care possible.

My experience was very good. I have been going to Dr. Sicher for over 30 years. His staff is very professional and friendly. They know the history of our family and ask about our sons, who are grown and on their own. A family atmosphere with top notch professionalism. I would recommend Dr. Sicher and his staff to anyone!!

From the first phone call through my apt made very quickly, I was very impressed with the entire office. The wonderful woman who answers the phone set the stage for a caring place for a new patient. The Dr was informative, kind, professional and listened to my plan for my teeth. The fact that my crown will be done in one day and that he does implants all in this office is amazing. They don't take dental insurance but we use care credit for dental care. I am totally impressed with my first visit. I will let you know how my crowns go and my future implants.
