I find that listening and encouraging them to talk about their lives enriches my own. Im always learning something new from our conversations and that makes me a better human and a better dentist.

From a very young age I knew I wanted to be a dentist: I really didnt consider any other profession. After practicing for more than 25 years, I am thankful I chose this path. Every day I spend time with people I care about, building connections that go beyond provider and patient. Im now caring for the smiles of children, grandchildren, and even some great-grandchildren of my first patients. I cant think of a greater honor!

My team is composed of remarkably compassionate, giving people. Each is devoted to our patients comfort and genuinely cares about peoples welfare. Each year, my team and I complete many hours of continuing dental education, locally, regionally, and nationally. We attend various meetings, lectures, and seminars, learning from the leading practitioners and researchers in oral healthcare.

Were able to evaluate the new options and determine which are right to bring back and incorporate into our practice. Our patients can be assured they will always receive advanced, conservative, proven dental care from my team and me.

Ive enjoyed living in Midland all my life. In fact, most of my family, as well as my wife Loris family, are in this area. My brother Dave owns Smith-Miner Funeral Home and my sister Shari owns Shari's Catering and Company .Lori has retired after teaching math for 30 years. Were empty-nesters, as my son and two daughters are all living on their own and working in their chosen professions.

Ive worked with Dr. Smith since 1993 and am thrilled to have helped four generations of families with their oral health. Ive been lucky to have formed many special bonds and friendships through our practice and am honored by each. As a team, we provide the highest quality dental care and keep our patients smiling!

Working closely with patients, I review their overall and oral health, take X-rays, and perform periodontal charting. Then I clean my patients teeth, provide periodontal maintenance, and administer fluoride treatments. My most important responsibility is to educate each patient about why its important to care about their dental health and teach them how to keep it in great shape!

My husband Mark and I live in Saginaw Township with our two daughters, Emily and Hannah. We also have two Cocker Spaniels, Ellie and Sadie, and two cats, Jake and Grace. Our family loves time together, especially camping, bicycling, and kayaking. I enjoy being a troop leader for two Saginaw Township Girl Scout troops, too!

I am glad to be part of an amazing team, where we help people improve their oral health and achieve wonderful smiles. Dr. Smith is a truly gentle, patient dentist and each of my coworkers is just as committed to providing painless, stress-free visits. I work one-to-one with patients, providing through, gentle cleanings and offering other preventive care. A lot of my time is spent teaching people about their unique oral health concerns. We talk about the best way to keep their mouth clean and healthy, along with developing positive habits and making good nutrition decisions.

We serve the most wonderful community and Im glad to be part of their healthcare team! Its a great feeling to help people develop the beautiful, health-filled smile of their dreams and to see how happy they become. I joined Dr. Smith and our team in 2008 and love working with people who feel like part of my family. Were dedicated to providing the best care possible!

I work in our clinic, seating patients, preparing them to see Dr. Smith, and explaining what well be doing. Working chairside, I act as a second pair of hands for Dr. Smith during the procedure. At the same time, I talk with our patient about what were doing and check that theyre comfortable. When were finished, I offer home care instructions and check that the person is happy with everything weve done.

Outside of work, my priority is time with friends and family. Im married and have a son and a daughter, along with the worlds cutest little Chihuahua, Oliver. I enjoy golfing and camping, making crafts, and I love tropical vacations!

Working at the front desk, I welcome and check in patients, answer questions about treatment and scheduling, and handle the phones. I also verify insurance benefits, process payments, and take care of a variety of tasks. Im busy, but never too busy to catch up on a patients latest news!

Ive worked with my brother-in-law Dr. Smith since 2010. Coming to the office each day feels like working with family, partly because it is, and partly because we treat our patients and each other with such compassion and respect that it feels like theyre family.

I handle all our patients billing and insurance needs, helping them receive all the benefits to which theyre entitled. Its very rewarding to work with such a variety of people and creating for them a dental experience that is comfortable and positive.

I am married to Brian and I have two kids, Heidi and Megan. We also have two dogs that demand a lot of attention. I stay active at church and really enjoy getting together with family. I love my granddaughter Maya; having grandchildren is just as good as all grandparents say it is!

Helping people achieve great smiles is truly the best part of my job. I love getting to know our patients on a personal level, whether were talking about the latest addition to their family, travel plans, or success at school or work. Each person is unique and adds to the excitement of each day.

I make sure our patients are comfortable and relaxed during their visits. I explain what Dr. Smith will be doing and then assist him during the procedure. I look forward to getting to know all our patients.
