Hi! My name is Dr. Edward Smith. I take great pride in our outstanding, state-of-the-art dental facility, and we continually strive to provide the most caring, comprehensive dental care for all of our patients.
I graduated with honors from Seton Hall University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology in 1980, and then graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine in the top of the class in 1984. I then completed my Residency in General Dentistry at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where I held the position of Chief Dental Resident. I continue to return there to help train our next generation of dentists.
I have been practicing General Dentistry for 30 years in Randolph, New Jersey. I am a member of the Tri-County Dental Association, New Jersey Dental Association and the American Dental Association, as well as a guest speaker and lecturer for Dental Residents at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. I have completed well over 2000 hours of dental education, including cosmetic, restorative, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Scott Smith, son of Dr. Edward J. Smith, graduated from one of the top globally ranked dental schools, New York University College of Dentistry, and then completed his residency for General Dentistry at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He also obtained additional training in the specific niche of Implant Dentistry at both the renowned Nobel Biocare Training Institute and Zimmer Biomet Institute.
Drawing on his years of experience and education, Dr. Smith is easily able to provide for a wide array of patient cases. Ranging from family care for both children and adults to highly advanced complex patient care, Dr. Smiths captivating smile and outstanding bedside manner will put every patient at complete ease.
While he enjoys a robust dental practice of Family Care Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Implants during the week, when Dr. Smith is not attending to patients, you can find him playing tennis, golf or practicing his self-taught chess game or competing in local tournaments.
My name is Lusetta. I am the Office Manager as well as a Dental Assistant and Radiologist. Having began my dental career over 20 years ago, I joined Dr. Smith and the outstanding team at Smith Family Dentistry in 2003. My husband and I have 2 wonderful sons that we are both incredibly proud of. When I am not at work, you can find me spending family time outdoors. We enjoy taking our dog Adrienne along with us when we go hiking, camping, and boating. Here at Smith Family Dentistry, my personal goal is to provide our patients with the utmost care and attention to make each visit an excellent experience.
My name is Andrea. I am an administrative assistant and have 20 plus years of Administrative and Dental experience. As a new team member, joining Smith Family Dentistry in 2017, my warm personality, positive mindset and enthusiasm will continue to build on an already dynamic patient experience. I promise to always be ready to meet your scheduling needs and look forward to establishing a positive rapport with all our patients. Outside the office, my husband and I spend time with our three daughters and extended family. We spend most of our time on softball fields, at the barn, or in our backyard with our two dogs, Charlie and Clementine.

Having just recently joined Smith Family dentistry in 2016, I feel so fortunate to be able to work with a truly authentic, caring, and professional team.
