My name is Dr. Kimberly Thomas Smith,D.D.S. I was born in Canton, Ohio (Home of the Football Hall of Fame) and moved to Morgantown,WV when I was 12 years old. I grew up in one of the best small towns ever. I grew up going to Mountaineer Football and Basketball games yearly with my Dad. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Biology(2000), my Masters in Safety and Environmental Management(2001), and my Doctorate in Dental Surgery(2006) all through West Virginia University. Upon graduating I practiced in New Hampshire. After relocating to Martinsburg, WV I continued practicing without interruption and was an associate at a private practice. My experiences and desires have proudly led me to the formation of Smith Family Dentistry where Im very excited to provide a valuable service to the community of Martinsburg where I currently reside. I am a member of the American Dental Association, The West Virginia Dental Society, and the Eastern Panhandle Society. I also am a member of The Academy of General Dentistry, the Better Business Bureau, and The Martinsburg Chamber of Commerce. I have 2 younger sisters: Kristin, a Physician Assistant in Harpers Ferry and Kerri, who will be following in her big sisters footsteps and becoming a Dentist with her specialty in Periodontics.
In my spare time, I love to ski in Vermont with my family and also visit the beach in the summer. I enjoy the outdoors and exploring with my 2 little boys. My husband and I are very proud of our family including our two sons, Hudson and Clayton as well as Titan our French Bulldog. Opening my own dental practice has been a lifelong dream which has been supported by my father and mother. I was inspired at a very young age to pursue this career path by my grandfather who was also a dentist and my grandmother who was a dental hygienist.

I've never had a better experience at a dentist than with Dr. Smith. Cleaning went well, filling was completely painless and quick. She even returned a call I made over the weekend for a dental emergency, and fit me in her schedule the next business day they were open. Cannot recommend them enough.

Great staff and great doctor! Very clean office with great location and parking. Procedures were explained clearly and work done efficiently. I was relieved at the end because there was no real pain or discomfort!

We went back today for our semi-annual teeth cleaning and were promptly treated. The hygienist is very knowledgeable, experienced , and personable. I appreciated that the practice is large enough that both my wife and I could get cleaning appointments at the same time. Dr. Smith is very knowledgeable and friendly. We were glad to be included in a celebratory 5th anniversary luncheon.

Another quick, painless, and wonderful experience at Dr.Smith's office this morning! Dr. Smith is so down to earth and friendly and takes the time to talk and listen to you. I'm so glad I finally found a wonderful dentist! Plus her staff is super sweet as well!

I can't say enough about how great they all are here. Both my fiancee and I have very bad anxiety about going to the dentist, but Dr Smith and her crew are the most comforting and helpful dentists I have ever been to. They're all incredible and we appreciate them so so much. The best people around!
