Dr. Atty Smith grew up in Minnesota and knew from an early age that she wanted to help people. She did her undergraduate work at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she graduated magna cum laude and with Delta Sigma Delta honors. Dr. Smith received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in Minneapolis. Upon graduating, she worked in private practices in Minnesota and Nevada. She has now found her home in beautiful Oro Valley, Arizona.
Dr. Smith has a passion for providing customized, high-quality dentistry based on the latest technology and training methods. To ensure this high level of care she has attended some of the top postgraduate institutions, such as the Scottsdale Center for Dentistry, the Spear Institute, and the Las Vegas Institute. She enjoys helping her clients in many aspects of dentistry, including cosmetic, pediatric, and preventative care.
Most importantly, Dr. Smith is passionate about educating her patients so they fully understand their dental diagnosis and the choices they have for their dental care. She firmly believes an educated patient makes the best decisions.
Dr. Smith has been married for 18 years to her husband Rory, a Tucson native, and they have two beautiful daughters. They enjoy the many outdoor activities that Oro Valley has to offer such as golfing, biking, and hiking. They truly enjoy raising their children in this city and are proud to be part of the community.

If you are looking for a dentist I would highly recommend Smith dental works. Dr Smith and her team are simply the best! They take great care of their patients to make sure that they are comfortable and at ease. I had some fillings done with their laser, it was quick and completely painless. All this is done without drilling or shots to numb the area. It was wonderful to get up from the chair pain free and not numb. I wouldn't go anyplace else!!

My family has been with Smith Dental works for several years and continue to feel confident in our care. We have sent several friends there also and they are pleased too. Dr. Smith has an in office plan for dental care for those of us without insurance that can't be beat. Dr. Smith also responds via text to after hours emergencies which we have experienced first hand. We cannot speak more highly of her and her staff.

This dental office is the best I have ever encountered in my long old life! (68 years!) Every single person in this practice, from the office to everyone involved in the practice is the very best. I actually enjoy going to the dentist, which as a nervous dental person, is a lot to say. Dr. Smith is the best ever, my new crown fits like it has been there my entire life. Never thought I would say this, but I am looking forward to my next cleaning in May!

Dr. Smith and her staff are amazing. I'm new patient to their office but I have been very impressed. Thorough evaluation, necessary work done in a timely and relatively painless manner. I was so impressed that my wife and daughter are now patients as well. I love the personal care the staff provides too. I would give 6 stars if possible.

Best dental experience I've had in a long time. The staff is friendly and efficient. Dr. Smith is gentle and ensures you have the best experience possible. Also had a tooth cleaning besides a crown and fillings and that was terrific too. Extremely glad I found this dental office!
