I was very disappointed to walk into my appointment today to a very strong scent diffusing though the hvac system. As someone who is prone to scent-triggered migraines, I had to leave ten minutes into my appointment with a migraine. I am surprised a medical office would elect to do this. This change has been implemented in all three locations, so I will no longer be able to be a client.

Dr. Marco was amazing with my teen daughter who has SEVERE dental anxiety and has been dealing with chronic decay for several years. We have really struggled to find a provider who helps her to feel at ease. We found Dr. Marco at Smith Dental when she had an infected tooth that needed to be extracted. Despite being a very difficult situation accompanied by pain, the team was patient and kind, helping her with breathing techniques, speaking softly and encouragingly, and had a gentle touch. We are coming out of our third appointment with the team, had some fillings done today. Despite the fear she had coming in, we were able to get them taken care of and she came out with a smile and was even joking with him. She has a lot of work still to be done, but I am hopeful that we will be able to get it taken care soon. We haven't had that hope in many years. I am so thankful for Dr. Marco and his team.

I walked into smith dental 63 years of age with a mess of what once resembled teeth. Margaret's kind spirit got me started with options and costs involved. She inspired confidence in the whole process. Dr. Gutierrez in 2 months created a masterpiece of chewing efficiency. His assistant Satoya quick and confident reminding me of the light at the end of the tunnel. 2 extractions, 8 crowns and 2 bridges later I walked out the door with new confidence in myself and a whistle id lost years ago. Thank you Dr. Gutierrez and your team. Well done.

My daughter has a rough time with pain and a fear of dentists. We struggled to find anyone who could be patient with her and allow her to work through the fear. Smith Dental went above and beyond and had such grace and care with her. It took awhile but we were able to get a tooth pulled and even some fillings done. We won't go anywhere else now even if we have to drive a little further! Very professional and friendly staff. I highly recommend them!

As a guy who has always disliked going to the Dentist, that all changed when I walk in the door. They have compassion for you as a patient. I feel very comfortable going to the Dentist now and they are the reason why!

I have always had such a great experience coming to Smith Dental in Aloha. The front staff are always so nice and Dr. Erik Smith is so knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else for my dental needs!

First time going to Smith Dental a few weeks ago. Enjoyed my experience a lot. They were very friendly and on time. The appointment started and ended on time. I also received a hand written thank you note, which is a nice change from the big box dentals I'm use to. Will be going back in the future :)

I highly recommend smith dental , Dr.Eric an Dr.John are amazing they are very caring in how your dental experience goes ,they have always been so nice an made me feel comfortable ,they always explore every option to make sure it works best for you. My entire family goes here an truly we wouldn't go anywhere else.

I've been in the office about a handful of times and have met with Dr Erick who is great! I met another Doctor at the hillsboro office who was good too, I just can't remember his name. My review is based off of my recent phone conversations the past maybe 3-4 weeks ? I called 3-4 weeks ago to schedule a tooth extraction with my preferred provider, Dr Erick, at the Aloha location. Took time off work as I was told he ONLY does extractions on Thursdays. I was also told I would get a call a week prior to my appointment letting me know if I would have any up front costs after looking my eligibility and benefits through my insurance. My appointment was suppose to be for tomorrow and I received an appointment reminder text to my cell phone but never received a call nor did a i have a voicemail from the office regarding financial detail so I called the office and found out I had an upfront cost of $176.20 of which I would not have had with me had I not called and checked myself. Not only that but I spoke with I believe her name was Tammy (super sweet) who stated that the Aloha office was closed on Tuesdays and Dr Erick did not do wisdom teeth extractions. I was not on their schedule at all. She checked hillsboro's location and saw that I was actually on Dr. Johnsons schedule over at that location. Kind of frustrating when I had requested one doctor and was given that doctor and the requested location when I made the appointment and I also had to request time off from work with no PTO hours to get this done and I had I not called today I would have shown up to a closed office! And even if it was open I wouldn't have had the $176.20 with me at my time of service. I just found the whole situation unorganized and not ideal at all for myself as a patient. Someone dropped the ball somewhere and hope that this can go to use for better training so that it doesnt continue to happen to the rest of your already established patients and/or future patients.

Great work performed by an outstanding dentist and supporting staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Eric Smith for his professionalism and friendly demeanor.
