Dr. Matt Smith is a home-grown Waycross boy having graduated from Ware County High School in 1977. He attended the University of Georgia and attained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and then completed his dental training at The Medical College of Georgia in 1985. After dental school, Dr. Smith returned to the community he loved and has enjoyed providing quality dental care to area citizens for 35 years. Dr. Smith and Dr. Manus were married in 1986 and soon purchased the practice of Dr. Ray Eleazer. Dr. Smith especially enjoys a focus on comprehensive dental care merging the discipline of restorative dentistry and smile design with a pursuit of healthy supporting tissues and healthy jaw joint function. He has been active in many local, state, and national dental organizations. Dr. Smith is the proud father of seven children and considers parenting his highest calling. He has enjoyed teaching Bible studies in his church for thirty years. His hobbies include golf, bowhunting, and fishing.
Dr. Page Manus has been delivering quality dental care to families and children of Southeast Georgia since 1986. She is a graduate of Kennesaw College and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. She also completed a mini residency in pedodontics at the University of Florida School of Dentistry in 1998. Dr. Manuss passion is restoring the dental health of children and teens. Her ideal day consists of treating these young people exclusively. In addition to her private practice, she has been active in various school dental programs and currently works with the Southeast Health Unit treating underserved children in our area. In addition to her role as a childrens dentist Dr. Manus is the mother of seven children, five daughters and two sons. Caring tirelessly for the needs of such a large family commands most of her time, but she finds time to enjoy reading and exercise. She is a faithful member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Blackshear, Georgia.
Paula attended Armstrong State University receiving an Associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She has been practicing dental hygiene since 1986. She has worked for Dr. Smith and Dr. Manus for 32 years. Paula has been married to Stephen for 31 years and they have three boys Matthew, Madison, and Mason. She also enjoys spending time with her family and shopping.
Donna is a registered Dental Hygienist, receiving her degree in 1981 from Armstrong State College in Savannah, GA. She has practiced 20 years with Dr. Smith and Dr. Manus. She is a resident and native of Baxley. She is married to Jimmy and has been faithfully involved with him in numerous ways during his various ministerial roles. Donna feels blessed to be part of an amazing dental team.
Becky has been working with Drs. Smith and Manus since 1996. She earned her Associate in Science in Dental Hygiene from Darton College in 1988. Becky is married to Sid and has two married children, Bryan and Lindsey. She is an active member of Central Baptist Church. When not working she enjoys spending time on the lake with family.
Jennifer has been a dental assistant for Dr. Smith and Dr. Manus since 2003. She has over 20 years of experience in the dental field. She graduated from Valdosta High in 1995. Jennifer has been married to her husband for twenty years, they have two children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She loves being a dental assistant and enjoys assisting with both adults and children. She considers it a blessing to be able to assist in making a difference in patients smiles and witnessing the joy of their dental experience.
Anna started assisting Dr. Smith and Dr. Manus in 2006. She has been a dental assistant for over 13 years. She loves spending time with her family and friends. When not a work, Anna loves attending Nascar races, going to the beach, and hunting with her dad.
Wendy graduated from Palm Beach Community College as a dental assistant. She has been in the dental field for 22 years. Her husband is staff pastor at Destination Church. They also run a cookie company that sponsors an orphanage in India, JJs Cookies. They have three children, Andrew, Destiny, and Daniel. In her spare time, she loves to do choreography and dance. She is also on staff and volunteers at Destination church.
Jenni has worked with Dr. Smith and Dr. Manus since July 2018. She recently switched from her medical career of ten years to pursue her career in the dental field. She enjoys being a team player and assisting patients with any dental questions or concerns. When she is not working, you can find her spending time with her husband and children. She has a heart to work in the mission field serving those who are less fortunate.
Sylvia has been in dentistry since 1981. She has been with our office since 2006 as a clinical assistant and Hygiene Coordinator. If you have questions or concerns about anything pertaining to the health of your oral cavity, she would be the perfect person to speak with. She tries her best to answer any questions patients have with the utmost respect and consideration. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Jenell has been in the field of dentistry for over 24 years. She has both clinical and administrative experience. She was a chairside dental assistant for over 11 years and is currently the Front office manager. Jenell has worked for Dr. Smith and Dr. Manus for over 12 years. She is married to her husband Travis of twenty-six years. They have three boys, Wes, Gabe, and Colt. Jenell enjoys attending church, sports, reading, and spending time with her family.
