Dr. Todd Smith and Dr. Michael Cole dentists in New Braunfels Texas both did their undergraduate work at Abilene Christian University and received their Doctorate degrees from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio.
Both share a passion for God and serving others. They have participated on several dental mission trips helping the people of Brazil, Haiti, El Salvador, Mexico, Grenada, Guatemala as well as the local mission field here in New Braunfels.
When not at the office or spending time with his family, you can find Todd leading leading small groups and couple in pre-marital ministry counseling, hitting some tennis balls or watching sports and honing his skills as the next big commentator for ESPN.
Dr. Cole has been practicing in New Braunfels for over 18 years and has also served the San Antonio and Pleasanton areas. He and his wife, Bonnie, have been married for 9 years and have three children: Katherine, Caleb, and Karissa. Michael loves to serve people; he does this primarily through various ministries at Oak Hills church including: teaching in the childrens ministry, leading small group bible studies and serving globally in over 18 short term mission trips. You can also find him cutting a rug on the dance floor, listening to live music, snow skiing or hanging out with friends and family.
Dr. Kristin Soileau has been practicing dentistry since graduating from the UT San Antonio Dental school in 2006. She continued her education by completing a Advanced General Dentistry Residency Program in 2007. She has been thrilled to be a part of the Smith and Cole Family since 2014 when her husbands job brought them back to San Antonio.
When not wearing her Doctor or Mommy hats, Kristin loves any outdoor sports adventures (at least those that dont involve heights), getting lost in a good book, singing along to Broadway musical soundtracks and dabbling in photography.
She is thankful to be a part of a profession that makes it easy to be the hands and feet of Jesus and has spent time in Kenya, Costa Rica, Mexico, Nicaragua and locally at the San Antonio Christian Dental Clinic. It is her greatest privilege to show people the love of Christ through providing them access to dental care.
Dr. Albert Ouellette is a Board certified Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon (OMFS). He recently retired from the United States Air Force after 21 years having completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in 1995 and later his OMFS residency in 2003; both through opportunities provided by God through the USAF. He is thankful now to be a part of the Smith and Cole Dentistry Family!
When not in the office, Albert enjoys riding his motorcycle with the Alamo Apostles and is an avid outdoor sportsman (hunting, fishing, camping, hiking) He attends the Oak Hills Church Crownridge Campus in San Antonio and is a member of the Family Sunday School class there.
He is grateful for the gifts God has provided him and tries to serve by providing care on mission trips. He has been to Brazil and Guatemala multiple times providing needed extractions and cleft lip/palate surgeries as well as other facial procedures. He intends to continue and hopes to increase the number of mission trips on which he travels.
Please help the Smith & Cole family welcome our newest member, Dr. Adam Gentry. Although he is new to our dental family, he is not new to dentistry. Dr Gentry received his DDS degree from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2012 and has been practicing ever since.
Adam is husband to Kirstin and dad to three kids. Since the Gentrys are also foster parents, that number (of kids) is sometimes higher; they love having the chance to be a temporary safe space for children who need it and are an adoptive family as well.
Dr. Gentry is glad to be back in the Lone Star state, where he was raised, after having spent time on the east coast, in Colorado (his wifes home state), and more recently after two overseas experiences practicing dentistry in the exotic countries of Saipan and New Zealand!
He also loves spending time with his family, outdoors if possible. The Gentrys are happiest boarding a plane to explore the wide world! Adam also loves surfing, skiing, basketball and fly fishing.But, Adams faith in Jesus is his central interest. He loved leading mens groups in Saipan, Denver and New Zealand and is looking forward to getting involved in a local church.

This place is absolutely wonderful! Dr Cole was so kind and hospitable to my children. In a visit for my 5-year-old he was very friendly and had a calming demeanor. I appreciate him and his staff for all of their patience and help.

I saw Dr. Gentry recently to have some fillings done. He was quick and professional, very attentive to if I needed additional numbing for the procedure.I'll request him again for future appointments.

Absolutely the BEST! They greet you with smiles and laughter even at 7am. The front desk staff remembers to ask about your family, compliment your smile, chat with you about life. Each dentist is patient, careful, quick, and gentle. They make you feel comfortable in and out of the chair. Smith & Cole dentistry is top notch when it comes to all things dental and orthodontic! They understand how much a good smile means but also how it impacts families financially. Truly changed how I feel about going to the dentist. Our whole family goes here and couldn't be happier.

Been coming here for a few years now, I always had a good experience until my last appointment a couple of weeks ago, the dentist seem to be in a rush, the needle of the anesthesia hit a bad spot and I feel intense pain in my face, I could feel every nerve in my face like a thunder of intense pain, I keep trying to tell him to stop but he wouldn't care even when I was tapping him frantically so I literally had to push him out. Every other dentist stop when they see any kind of discomfort to look for consent to proceed and he just told me that my pain was normal didn't offer any other alternative and I bother him while I was taking a minute to compose myself, zero bedside manners. I had to bare with the pain and discomfort so I could leave as soon as possible and never comeback again to this office. I had many other procedures done in different offices and this by far is the worse. I was literally crying in pain. I had teeth pulled before, crowns and I never had cry at all but with this one and it wasn't about the pain it was mostly because when I did everything in my power for him to stop he didn't. I feel abused. I'm glad they have so many great reviews, and clients but I'm definitely never coming back again. 2 weeks had passed and I'm still sore in the place of the anesthesia and my mouth doesn't fully open. I'll be ok it's just matter of time. But if I wasn't scare of dentist in all this years now I'm definitely are. On top of that I got work done in the wrong tooth and is not smooth correctly but that can be fixed in a different office. Recommendations for patients: don't go around lunch time or they will rush you. Recommendations to the dentist: please stop when a patient ask you to stop to avoid future trauma with other patients.

Disappointed after striking out with a couple of subpar local area dentists' offices, I was elated to hit a grand slam at Smith and Cole! What an absolutely pleasant experience!! Received the most thorough and comprehensive checkup, X-rays and cleaning that I have ever had! Happy teeth! Super friendly, mindful, efficient, attentive and talented staff and specialists who check in with you at all stages ensuring that one is not experiencing discomfort at any point. Also excellent behind the scenes coordination with insurance providers making it an overall easy and seamless experience. Well done! Count me in as a raving fan!

Hands down the BEST dental office I have ever been to. Everyone is courteous, professional and very good at their jobs. They have the most state of the art equipment I've experienced and explain everything thoroughly throughout the process. I can't recommend them highly enough!!

Called Dr. Cole's office as I had a toothache. They got me in quickly, a couple of days. Dr. Cole diagnosed the problem and recommended a course of action. He remedied the situation in another appointment. This was my first dealing with the Dr. I moved here a couple of years ago and had no dentist. I have other teeth issues that he is helping me with. Very nice people here. So his staff was very nice and accommodating and respectful. I recommend Dr. Cole to you as a very good dentist. Update: Just returned from the dentist after getting a crown and another cavity filled. Dr. Cole is such a nice guy and his staff is also great! They make the trip to the dentist very easy to deal with.

Very nice office, Doctors and good work. However very over priced and they try to guilt you into getting cosmetic work, you don't need, don't want and cannot afford. Third time this has happened. I would love to spend $15,000. on a beautiful smile- but I can barely afford payments on the urgent dental work I NEED! Why make me feel so pressured and bad about myself?!

I arrived on time for my invisalign appointment, I was checked in promptly, escorted to the treatment room, and sat in the chair for 30 minutes until the invisalign specialist made herself available. Tired of excuses for poor customer service.... The assistant was not adequately trained on the program application and the specialist was coaching her as she was working on me. Not a way to instill confidence in your patients.... Very dissatisfied!
