I see myself as a community helper. My profession allows me the opportunity to take care of the children both routinely and in times of emergency needs. Beyond the practice, the parents and the children know that I am always there for them and the community. Working with so many unique people every day broadens my appreciation for others and I feel very humbled by the trust of so many families who have entrusted their children to my team of doctors and staff. They must be financially hurting. They required $15.00 to stamp a kindergartner form that my child has been seen by their office. Sad.....

Terrible customer service at front desk. Illogical and inconsistent billing practices. They don't care about patients, just a number and disposable/replaceable.

Going to these guys for 11 years. Today was my first horrible experience. My calm 6 year old dgtr had to have xrays. Took 3 different people. I could tell the first wasnt experienced. My daughter didnt move or fight them. Her mouth is just small. They didn't hold their hands steady so they kept getting blurry photos. The last 2 made her gag and one of them cut into her cheek. I offered to help hold equipment (i am a trauma nurse) i was met with such a snarky attitude by the 3rd girl. Cleaning done by assistant instead of the doctor suprised me. I love dr wong but my 3 kids and i wont be returning.

Dr. Lily was so sweet and comforting during our 2.5 year old's first appointment. She made the entire experience wonderful! Nice clean office too. The TV above the patient's chair was a really great touch!

It is such a shame that great doctors, such as Dr Lily Chung have personnel that lacks good customer service. Specifically today I called the Sherman Oaks office to schedule "dental cleaning" appointments for my three boys and in talking to the manager (Diana) she told me that I had to pay "again" for X-rays that they were not able to get back in July 2021 from my 5 yr old boy because the technician that took care of him did not handle the procedure correctly and he ended up biting himself. He cried a lot and did not want to continue with the cleaning but I made him. Dr Lily was very caring in dealing with him and told the technician and the front office that the next time we would come back for "dental cleaning" they would re-take the x-rays and that since I had already paid that I did not need to re-pay them again. Today while re-scheduling their appointments I made sure to tell the office that but Diana said that I had to pay again. She also mentioned a bundle that I was not told when I paid "cash" back in July for the three of them and that the price per x-ray was $75 for each one of them and that she basically made me a favor. If I would have been told then I would have made sure get in writing but I trusted the doctor and obviously the practice. Diana went far to say that since it was not Dr Lily's practice she has no say in the dealings of the payment. I mostly post reviews to praise businesses but this time I feel it is necessary in letting you know that the manager was extremely rude to me. Needless to say that I will not come back to this place and to Dr Lily.

Great pediatric dentist! My son's crown fell the day prior and the place where he got his procedure done wouldn't see him until March 11th which I found ridiculous. I called Smiling Sea Pediatric Dentistry they took me in the same day! Everyone was very friendly it's an amazing place and would totally recommend.

Very professional! They took care of my daughter. She's never scared to go to the dentist. They make her feel comfortable and they don't force the parents into making a hasty decision right away. Great vibes as well!

I have been going to this office ever since my son got his first tooth (about 5 years). Dr. Lilly is amazing, however the office rules are not. I went in today with my son to get his teeth cleaned and they were mandating me for an x-ray that I felt was unnecessary. I tried to explain to the staff members that I did not want radiation in my son for no reason. He wasn't complaining of anything that hurts, he had no pain. The baby teeth that fell out, The adult teeth are coming in the straight and beautifully. No cavities or broken teeth. Why the X-ray? I then asked the receptionist a simple question, " if nothing hurt you and I made you do a CT scan for no reason, how would you feel? "She refused to answer and kept telling me and saying they need to do an x-ray in order to see my child. I then proceeded to ask her if I had a vaccine and forced her to do it, would she do it? She kept quiet. That was my way of explaining to her that it was unnecessary to do x-rays on my child's teeth if he was not complaining of anything and his teeth were perfectly fine. I have worked in the medical field for over 20 years and the way that we were treated today here at this dental office was not professional and unacceptable. Then the office manager told me if I did not want to get x-rays I should look elsewhere for another dental provider for my child and they could not see me. Which I then turned around and said thank you and left.

I was worried that my son had displaced a tooth due to a fall. They were able to accommodate him the same the day. Luckily the tooth wasn't displaced. It didn't take more than 20 minutes.

Always a treat to go see Dr. Lily she is very patient and easy to communicate with your about your child's needs. I love her way with my Daughter.Staff is nice too and all is clean. Plus, the toys and stickers they get after their appointment is really exciting. I find my daughter wants to brush and take of her teeth so she can be "rewarded" when she goes to dentist. Dr. Lily has been my daughter's only dentist and she is now 4. Will keep going.
