Before we have a chance to meet in person, Id like to tell you a little about myself and my dental philosophy. After graduating from Northwestern University in Evanston, I completed dental school at the University Of Illinois College of Dentistry. An elective General Practice Residency program at Loyola University Medical Center provided me with advanced training in general dentistry, oral surgery, and general medicine. I began practicing at a large downtown office with high volume and followed that up at a small cosmetic practice in Wilmette. I have been the proud owner of Smiling Patient Dental Caresince 2004. The patients of this practice have become my friends over the years and I am truly honored to have the pleasure of treating so many wonderful people.

I am excited and proud to be part of the team at Smiling Patient Dental Care. Building relationships with patients has been one of my favorite aspects of providing dental care, and I am so lucky to be able to work with the great patients at SPDC!
Along with seeing patients here at the office, I am on the faculty as a Clinical Instructor at the UIC College of Dentistry with a focus on dental anatomy and restorative dentistry and an instructor for courses hosted by the Illinois State Dental Society.
During my time in dental school, I participated in the honors track and served as the class representative to both the Chicago Dental Society and Illinois State Dental Society. Additionally, I was awarded the Frances Best Watkins Award in recognition of outstanding leadership skills and excellent academic standing, the Dr. Gerson Gould and Mr. Sol. H. Gould Memorial Scholarship and the Dr. Marshall W. Milnarik Scholarship, both in recognition of clinical and academic excellence.
I am an active member of the Chicago Dental Society, Illinois State Dental Society, the American Dental Association, and the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band. My wife and I live in Chicago and are excited to welcome our first child later this year!
Dr. Jennifer Shango Adhami graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with a bachelors degree in biochemistry. She continued her education at the University of Detroit Mercys dental school serving as the student body president. She went on to receive her masters degree in Oral Sciences and Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Illinois-Chicago.
Today, Dr. Adhami works as full-time private practitioner performing procedures limited to periodontics and implant dentistry. She is a current member of the American Dental Society, the American Academy of Periodontology, Midwest Society of Periodontics, Chicago Dental Society, and Illinois State Dental Society.
Dr. Adhami is constantly motivated to improve the lives of her patients and strives to provide an environment where patients feel protected and listened to. In her private life, Dr. Adhami enjoys cooking, traveling, and spending quality with her loving husband Jawad and son Daniel.
Over the years, Smiling Patient Dental Care has invested in our team, facilities, and training to provide the best dental experiences for our patients. We have invested over two million dollars in facilities and equipment to have the most state-of-the-art dental office. We also realize that none of equipment actually does anything without an incredible, well trained team to provide exceptional dental care. Our team is committed to continuous improvement, stays up to date on the latest clinical techniques, and works together to help our patients stay healthy and achieve the smile of the dreams.

This dental practice is phenomenal! From the moment you walk in until you leave, nothing but smiles and joy! Dentists have phenomenal bedside manners! The oral hygienists are great! They make you feel comfortable through the whole experience. It's worth the drive. Go visit them! :)

Dr. Malin & her team provide a state of the art dental experience. From X-Rays and diagnostic assessment, to teeth cleaning and beyond (I've also had more extensive work completed) I've had an A+ experience. Her beautiful & sanitary office offer a calming atmosphere for children & adults. Large screens in treatment rooms offer the ability for one to be distracted by watching something on the television. I find everyone super friendly & professional from the front desk staff, the schedulers, billing Dept. The hygienist team and the Dr.'s. I highly recommend Smiling Patient Dental. I'm so glad I switched over to this high quality of care team!

I have been going to Smiling Patient for years and this is the best dentist anyone could have. Dr. Malin is attentive, knowledgeable and always have a solution. The technicians and Alex make me feel like a family. We have had such a great experience here. Dentists bring up a lot of anxiety for a couple of us in the family, but all of their staff is so kind and welcoming. They talk through all they are doing and make adults and kids feel comfortable. Very clean office. I am so glad we switched to this practice!!
