Dr. Crear has a passion for treating patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly. A native New Orleanian, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU Dental School in 1991.Upon graduating from Dental School, Dr. Crear opened her own private practice in uptown New Orleans on Louisiana Ave. She later established a group practice in 1992, appreciating the diversity of skills that many different dentists brought to the practice. With the success of her first practice, Dr. Crear opened a second location in 2003 called St. Bernard Dental Group which too, thrived until Hurricane Katrina. Both practices were lost in the flooding and Dr. Crear moved to the Baton Rouge area. She relocated her primary office, Tracy M. Crear, D.D.S. and Associates to Baker, Louisiana, and also relocated the St. Bernard Dental Group to Gretna, Louisiana in 2006. Dr. Crear reopened in the Uptown area in 2011, and reestablished herself in her Smiling Faces Family Dentistry network. Dr. Crear believes in staying current in the newest and latest dental technology, and is a member of the NDA, ADA, LDA, and NODA. With special interests in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Crear maintains an extensive continuing education program and expertise in the areas of teeth whitening and veneers (i.e. Lumineers).

The service was great it was my first time visiting the location. They were very helpful in making sure that I was able to get the service that they provide. I even signed myself up for service in the future. Because today I was blown away by the service because they were very courteous helpful and genuine when it came to making me feel comfortable and welcome into their business.

I left after waiting 3.5 hours from the time of my appointment. I was told someone was getting a root canal. I don't understand why that would keep a dental hygienist from doing her job. The dentist herself only stops in for about a minute to explain what is seen in the x-rays. I haven't rescheduled.

They make u feel at home and like everybody in the staff have been knowing you all your life. Their work is outstanding! My teeth were done and they ask me was I Satisfied with the job I said yes . It's looked real nice to me. They were Not Satisfied on the plain satisfied level. I thought it couldn't get no better. They Convinced me to let them made it better To my surprise they went from a 3 1/2 to a 5 1/2 and 5 is great as u can get it . From Satisfied to Highly Satisfied.

Smiling Faces Dentistry is absolutely a professional and family friendly establishment. They are #1 so much that my children, their children also the Great-Grand children are clients with the family team. I like that you are patient with me and you not only care about my teeth you care about me yes I would recommend smiling faces to everyone I have a 9 year old who was very much afraid of any doctor they took time with him and now he's good with his teeth no longer afraid
