We started our practice in 1986 as Dr. Poli & Dr. Burton Dentistry. However, during few months of a Covid -19 lockdown we start thinking about the new name which can better express what we are now, how we care for our patients, and our vision for the future. So, as we reopened, our team decided to create a new name that better represents us: Smiling Faces Dental.
The dentists at Smiling Faces Dental are board certified and committed to high-quality, comprehensive care. They each have over thirty eight years of experience and are committed to ongoing professional growth and continuing advanced education.

Dr Paul Poli is a New Jersey Board Certified dentist (Fairleigh Dickinson University, DMD, 1981), a proud member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry as well as non-surgical facial esthetics and rejuvenation (PDO lifting threads, dermal fillers and botox). Dr Poli is dedicated to the highest level of education and excellence in the field of dentistry and total facial esthetics. Dr Poli is a professional, passionate doctor and is known for his gentle manner and complete attention to detail. In his spare time Dr Poli enjoys ballroom dancing, skiingand biking.
Dr. Richard Burton is a New Jersey Board Certified dentist (Fairleigh Dickinson University, DMD, 1982) He has treating patients at this location in Parlin NJ with Dr. Poli since 1986. Dr. Burton specializes in general and cosmetic dentistry, offers a full range of dental services including the latest in mini implants. Dr Burton is bringing his vast professional experience and skills to provide the highest level of excellence in the field of dentistry. Dr Burton is known for his kind manner and complete attention to detail. In his spare time Dr. Burton is a life long golf addict.
