Dr. Chakrapani Nannapaneni (Dr. C) has been practicing dentistry since 2003. He went to the University of California at San Francisco School of Dentistry to get his DDS degree. Dr. C believes that good routine preventative care is the most important step to a healthy smile along with regular tooth brushing and flossing. He listens carefully to all your concerns and will thoroughly examine your teeth before designing a custom general, cosmetic, or restorative treatment plan. In his spare time, Dr.C likes to watch the Dallas Cowboys, play football, baseball, cricket, enjoys reading books, and cooking for family.
We offer a variety of pediatric dentistry procedures that can help your child to stay in excellent oral health. While it starts with a dental exam and teeth cleaning, this is only the beginning. As a children's dentist office, we can also complete fluoride treatments and seal the teeth when necessary. These two procedures can help to strengthen and protect teeth so that they are less likely to become infected or get a cavity. While simple and fast, these two procedures can work together or separately to prevent your child from experiencing any unnecessary dental pain that can be caused by a cavity.
If your child does get a cavity or an infection, we can treat it right away so that they can feel comfortable again. Even baby teeth need to be treated because of the discomfort that they can cause your child. Fortunately, we can work with young children, and though the teeth are smaller, the procedure can be completed with precision so that they get the care they need without further complications. In order to help children relax and remain comfortable during this type of treatment, we offer sedation dentistry. This may be as simple as providing your child with laughing gas to relax, or if they are very small, they may need to be put to sleep while we complete the procedure. As a kids' dentist, we only use sedation when necessary. Simultaneously, it is dangerous for a child to be wiggly when dental tools are in their mouth. As such, it is better for a small child to be put to sleep than risk them moving and getting a secondary cut as a result.
As a children's dentist, we will discuss all of these treatment options, including the possibility of sedation, with you. This way you can make an informed decision as to the dental work you want to have completed and the timing of it. In some cases, parents prefer to postpone treating minor cavities for a few months if they feel their child may experience a developmental milestone, for example turning four years old, that may make them more prepared for the treatment. My experience with Dr.Chakrapani and his staff has been a pleasant, supportive and positive during all four visits. He has lot of patience in making sure and let us know everything about issues with teeth after the exam and then the solution. He is very experience with the way he does things and procedures. I had had some bonding done on my front teeth by another dentist a week before Christmas. Needless to say I wasn't happy with the results since I strongly resembled a beaver. I began an extensive internet search and came upon Smiline Dentals website. I saw Dr. C's smile gallery that shows before and after pics and I immediately knew I liked him. I came in and he explained all of my options but was most concerned that he didn't make the situation worse right at Christmas. He asked me what I wanted to do and I looked at him and said "I want you to give me a Christmas miracle". He went to work and would stop and hand me a mirror to check that I was good with what he had done so far. Long story short Dr. C will forever be my Christmas miracle and my husband and I have found our forever dentist!! I seriously can't recommend him enough. The nicest guy that really cares! I'm so happy I found him.

I have a high anxiety disorder and I used to loathe the dentist. Dr. C. Nannapaneni is absolutely the best dentist I have ever had or been to. If you struggle like I do give this place a shot. Its worth it.

Now I can say, i have no fear of going to the dentist. Yay...!! I got Personalized treatment, simple, caring and understanding staff and doctor (Dr. Chakrapani). State of the art equipment and dexterity in procedures. Good thing, they will not scare you off - with how bad your teeth condition is and so how high your bill is gonna go. I am very satisfied with the treatment done, which was pending for long due to poor past experience and fear. I would highly recommend them. Vivek Goyal

Went in for a teeth checkup/cleaning and was impressed at how kind and friendly the staff were! Everyone treated me like family. Dr. C helped me with any questions I had and took the time to explain anything I didn't understand.
