Dentistry for me is to help one patient at a time, with emphasis on good oral hygiene, preventive care and life long optimal dental health. I consider my ability to listen and understand my patients needs as my strength and their long term oral health , my reward.
Dr. Mahathi Nanduri received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from one of the top schools in the country, University of the Pacific School of Dentistry and graduated in 2007. After practicing for 2 years in Bay area California, she moved to Virginia.
Since graduation Dr. Mahathi Nanduri, DDS has continued her professional development by taking continuing education courses to stay current with the latest in dentistry. She is a member of theAmerican Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA),Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS)andAcademy Of General Dentistry (AGD), Association Of Woman Dentists, and is currently working toward her fellowship award (FAGD) with the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
Dr. Habib is a board-certified periodontist. After completing his dental school, Dr. Habib obtained his Masters of Public Health degree from Nova Southeastern University. Followed by Dental Public Health Certificate from Columbia University. He then joined the post-graduate program in Periodontics at Columbia University, where he earned his Masters of Science degree and Certificate in Periodontics in June of 2018.
During his time at Columbia University, Dr. Habib was fortunate to work with each of its well-versed faculty members, and get trained in all the different aspects of periodontology; Including all different types of classic periodontal and implant-related surgeries.

Anna has always been interested in the field of dentistry. She will be one of the first voices you hear and the first smiling face you see when you arrive at our office. On the phone and in our office she tries her best to assist our patients in every way possible.
Anna graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a B.S. in Forensic Science with minors in Biology, Chemistry, and Criminal Justice. She is interested in dental hygiene and would like to pursue it in the future. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, working out in the gym and spending time with her friends and family.
Muna has been working in the dental field for many years. She is always smiling and friendly, helping patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment. Along with Dr.Nanduri and her other team members at Smilezone Family & Cosmetic Dentistry she strives to offer personal care in a warm friendly environment. Outside of work she loves spending time with her three children and enjoys cooking , reading and outdoor activities.

I am new to town and was looking for a good dental office, was recommended to this office by one of my coworkers. Had a great experience, staff is really nice! Doctor and Dental hygienist answered all of my weird questions I have about dental health. Will definitely refer friends to this clinic. Great 1st impression!!! This was my first appointment and was very impressed from start to finish. After much consideration, I chose to leave my long time dental group for a dentist much closer to home. I learned of Dr Nanduri when my husband suffered a dental emergency and his dentist would not accommodate him and Dr Nanduri squeezed him in and quickly resolved his issue. Since then my husband has become a patient. I decided to become a patient as well and very pleased with that choice. This practice is the best!!!!

The Drs and staff were absolutely amazing. They made every effort to make sure I was comfortable and felt safe during these times COVID. They made sure to explain everything they were doing and let me know what my insurance did and did not cover. This was a wonderful experience and I will see them again and highly recommend them.

This practice is pre dominantly women and it has a really friendly but professional feeling. They put you first... you might not get a free toothbrush but you get a first class service and you'll feel trust in your dentist.

SmileZone is a wonderful family dentist. Every experience I've had working with Dr. Nanduri and her staff has been awesome and I always look forward to my next appointment! They've taken excessive precautions during COVID (air filtration, masks, surface, coverings, temperature checks, even leaving the windows open!) and I feel very safe visiting the office even at this time.
