Dr. Nate is no stranger to a hard days work he grew up spending long summers mowing lawns & working at his dads landscaping business. However, being a huge nerd at heart, Dr. Nate knew he wanted to go into a career that challenged his mind, helped people, and was a littleeeee less sweaty. His dream of becoming an orthodontist was born!
Our beloved brainiac graduated Summa Cum Laude from SUNY Buffalo, then went on to become Valedictorianof his dental school class at University of Pittsburgh, followed by an orthodontic residency at Tufts University. Since then, he has been an orthodontist in private practice. In that time hes helped thousands of people get a smile theyre proud of (#humblebrag), BUT in the offices he worked at braces were expensive and there were lots of people who couldnt afford them. Thats why Dr. Nate started SmileyCuse to make braces bothAFFORDABLE & FUN!He loves to crank the tunes on the sound system at the office, and its usually something with a good beat but hes always taking requests!
Dr. Nate runs SmileyCuse with his better half Dee, who lets be honest, is always the oneREALLY running the show! Together, they tag-team on raising their coolest accomplishment, their daughter Elise and son Gavin.
When hes not changing smiles & taking names, Dr. Nate loves getting his adrenaline up with some good ole-fashioned adventure sports like skiing and snowmobiling (he prefers mainly winter sports thanks to the PTSD of those long summer landscaping days). When hes not hanging with his patients at SmileyCuse, you can usually find him in the mountains or on the beach.
We charge 60% less than everyone else. Yep. You read that right. Best of all, we accept most insurances and offer a flat fee with no tricks, no hidden fees, and no surprises. See? We told you we could make you smile.

My back bracket broke off leaving me with a wire poking the inside of my mouth. Called SmileyCuse and they got me in the next day! Checked in to a friendly staff and was taken care of within minutes! If I didn't live in Idaho they would be my place of choice for an Orthodontist! Thanks!

My experience @smiley cuse was absolutely amazing The Doc was wonderful, he did a amazing job with my teeth they're perfect . The Doc & his staff are all amazing it's definitely a vibe from the time you walk through the door and see all the beautiful ladies smiling being very helpful positive attitudes. Jada is the young lady that took my braces off she was very friendly, funny & patient so cool. I Love the music definitely recommend smiley cuse I almost hated to leave . Thanks Guys
