Dr. Oana Romasan graduated from New York University College of Dentistry with two extra years of specialized training in Pediatrics. She completed her specialty training at NYU and Bellevue Hospital in New York City where she was Chief Resident. Dr. Romasan was also Clinical Assistant Professor at New York University for two years. She was in a private practice in Manhattan before moving to South Florida in 1999. Dr. Romasan then opened her own practice in 2001 here in Wilton Manors and has remained open throughout the years.
Dr. Romasan works diligently to provide the gentle care she wants for her patients. She focuses on accommodating each of her patients to the best of her ability. She treats each patient as if they were one of her own family.
Dr. Marcela Solarte was born in Colombia and raised in Weston, Florida. She believes in the upmost quality care for all her patients and families, emphasizing trust and personalized attention. She completed her undergraduate and dental degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville. She earned her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry from NYU Langone Lutheran Medical Center. She is fluent in Spanish and English.
Dr. Solarte is a certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is an active member in the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Florida Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Kristy Kao was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended the University of Pennsylvania for her undergraduate studies with a major in Biological Basis of Behavior. She subsequently went on to attend dental school at Columbia University in New York, where she realized her love of working with children. Upon graduation from Columbia, Dr. Kristy completed specialized training in pediatric dentistry at Albert Einstein/Montefiore Medical Center where she further developed her skills in treating children of all ages. Dr. Kristy looks forward to giving each patient a fun, positive experience at the dentist and setting them up for a lifetime of dental health!

Tonya has been working alongside Dr. Romasan since 2001 as her assistant. Now, she oversees the office and keeps it running in tip-top shape. Tonya is known as the trouble-maker of the Smiley Kidz family for squirting water at our patients during their cleanings! She enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, and camping but most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.
Cyndi has been part of the Smiley Kidz Family since 2018. Cyndi is the proud mother of one intelligent and beautiful daughter whos in her first year of college and 2 adventurous boys. She loves spending time with her family and friends.
