The response was so quick and I got my new dentist scheduled. I was hoping to see reviews before choosing a dentist but it seems that they only work with highly rated dentists anyway. There are closer dentists to my house but they recommended one a little further and added the length of time they worked with this dentist and the amount of recommendations this dentist has received. I know that with that many recommendations it had to be a good dentist.

Highly recommend Smiley Dental Fairhaven. Dr Fang is awesome! You can tell she really cares about her patients. She takes her time to explain what she is doing so that youre comfortable every step of the way and Assistant jess is great too! Theyre so nice and accommodating with scheduling!

The guy was EXTREMELY helpful at finding me an emergency dentist same day open on a saturday not far from home to do the work I needed for an extraction that I should have had done years ago but dont have insurance. I will def tell anyone I kno who needs the same kind of service to call Smiley Dental Fairhaven they will get help and get it quick!!!!!

The Coronavirus, COVID-19 has redefined the world and has impacted every trade and profession. There have been severe impacts on Dentistry too. As a result of the impacts, most dental offices have stopped accepting MassHealth. The PPE cost is so high that dentists are being selective on the procedures and the insurance they accept. Smiley Dental wants to serve the community as a result we continue to accept all insurances including MassHealth.

Adults over 21 who have an active MassHealth are eligible for a variety of different benefits. The most frequently used is a routine 6 months visit to a dentist for cleaning, x-ray and exam. During that visit, the MassHealth dentist at Smiley Dental will perform your dental cleaning and examine your teeth, gums and bones to make sure they are healthy. These visits also ensure that any abnormalities are caught on a timely basis and treated before they become a bigger problem. As an example, if a dental cavity is not taken care of on a timely basis, it could necessitate an expensive Root Canal procedure. There is also a likelihood that your could lose your tooth for life.

MassHealth members under 21 receive several different benefits under the plan. The most frequently used is a routine checkup and exam. During your visit to a MassHealth Dentist, the dentist at Smiley Dental will look in your childs mouth to see if your childs teeth, gums, and bones supporting the teeth are healthy. It is recommended to get dental cleaning and exam done every 6 months. During your visit, the dentist will see if your child needs other dental services.

I have extreme dental anxiety and this is the most comforting/welcoming dental practice I've ever been to (I've been to a lot). They make you feel comfortable and accommodate to your needs. They also have a small indoor play ground area for ...

I had a hard time finding a good dentist to pull a tooth. A friend referred me to the dentist, which was the best advice I was given. Will be going back for all my dental work that is needed for now on. Top notch service worth 10 stars.

Truthfully, I don't know what to do. I came in today in pain and they had to do a cleaning first since I haven't had one in a while. It was the most brutal cleaning I've ever, ever had. I've had slight discomfort while having a cleaning done, This had me almost jumping out of the chair. My mouth was filled with blood, Dr Fang said it was because I had a lot of plaque but Jesus... I felt like he was drilling right through my teeth and gums. Dr Fang seems like a great guy but honestly he is very hard to understand, I was trying to communicate what I was feeling and it was almost as if he wasn't understanding me. He asked if I wanted my wisdom tooth removed right then and there and I was obviously surprised, I asked him if the tooth needed to be removed and I never really got a valid yes or no answer. But since he's the dentist and I'm not, I made an appointment to get it removed. Now I'm really second guessing my decision. I don't think I will return here. Front desk ladies were excellent, The first women who did my X rays was pleasant but the dental assistant that worked with Dr Fang seemed pretty annoyed that she had to do a cleaning, Neither were very gentle. I almost felt like it wasn't real what was happening to me. My anxiety was through the roof. It's so hard to find a good dentist, I really wanted it to work out here because it's so close but truthfully I'm terrified to have anything else done.

I have been going to smiley dental for about 6 months now-my Dentist and hygienist are very gentle and professional during exams/procedures. They are flexible with the treatment plan, which is very important to me. I was having a lot of dental problems/pain after chemotherapy, and they have helped me greatly with this.

By far the worse place I have ever gone to. Not only was the dentist unbelievably rough he was also very unprofessional in my opinion. I had a filling that fell out(that i have had major issues with to begin with) and needed it fixed this was the only place that could take me quick. He began to say my tooth is decayed and there is no way I don't drink sugared things all the time. I told him I had an issue with this filling it has been redone twice and still messed up before it fell out so I don't think it was done properly and he did not believe me. A dentist should not judge you and make you feel comfortable I got judged over his own thoughts that were not true and did not feel comfortable. I will not be going back.

How in Gods green earth are you gonna violently rip out my wisdom teeth like some straight up savages and not give me any painkillers? Not even a aspirin on my way out the door? Words cannot describe the pain i experienced after leaving your office. Taking ibuprofen was like throwing a ice cube at a house fire. My pain laughed at the ibuprofen. I am a changed man after that. Wheres the compassion?

It seems this place rotates dentist like it's a training school . Been going a few years and it's always a different one. Usually they aren't bad except for this last one . Went in for a cleaning a few weeks ago and was told I needed to come back to fill two teeth. He was very rough with the cleaning so that should've been my first sign . The dentist was an Asian man who was very hard to understand . I don't know how the dental assistants are able to understand him as it's very difficult . I come back to get both teeth filled and leave with a lot of pain. I didn't think much of it seeing how teeth tend to be sore after any work done to them. A week passes and every day it's random throbbing pain . Middle of the night waking up with tooth pain constantly . I come back and he tells me it's because the fillings needed to be grinded down and grinds them . Two days pass and the pain still doesn't go away. Come back a third time and he seemed shocked to see me. He then has the nerve to bring me to the X-ray and say " look how beautiful the fillings look" . How can you defend your work when I walked into your place pain free and leave with throbbing teeth pain? He then finally decides to place something cold on them and gets annoyed because he wanted me to keep my hand up and only drop it when I don't feel any pain ????? Your touching an infected tooth and expect the pain to just stop seconds later . In the end he tells me I need to get a root canal and they provided me locations to get it done and tells me to come back for the crowns aka we still want your business . Do yourself a favor and find someone else as this has been a total disaster from the start.

Great dentist he made me a regular client in just one visit. The service is night and day from the other dentist in the same plaza.

Dentist Fang didn't know what he was talking about. Very rough when cleaning almost like I was an inconvenience or he had another place to be. Messed up on my filling and had to redo it, and told me if the second filling failed he would have to pull the tooth because a root canal wasn't "worth it". Needless to say I went to another dentist, and not only was told a root canal was doable, it was done right the first time. I'll never go back to Smiley, save yourself the trouble and stay away for your mouths sake!

I with good conscience can NOT recommend anyone go here unless you want to deal with rude staff including a rude doctor and be overcharged for basic services. They're vulture who prey on people who are desperate and when you ask questions they act so shady and combative as if a patient isn't allowed to want to be informed. What do they have to hide and why are they so rude and confrontational. Maybe if you're ghetto you won't mind this place but civilized and mature people would not like this place
