The doctors first met in high school while attending The Mercersburg Academy. Dr. Caouette went on to study biology at Franklin and Marshall College, while Dr. Gibson studied biology at Washington and Lee University. Together, they attended WVU School of Dentistry, where they earned their dental degrees in 2001. After years of experience, they are thrilled about the recent opening of their brand new, state-of-the-art practice in Mount Pleasant. Dr. Durlach has focused her postgraduate education on restorative dentistry, with recent training in esthetic case design using direct composite bonding. This allows her to offer her patients affordable, long-lasting, functional restorations that conserve tooth structure and look great. Her commitment to lifelong education means she is constantly evaluating emerging dental methods and technologies in order to provide her patients with the best results in the least invasive manner with a high emphasis on comfort.
An active participant in the community, Dr. Durlach currently serves as a member of the Hollings Cancer Citizens Advisory Board. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, sailing, tennis, and walking the beach with her husband Tom and their little Spaniel, Pringle.

While earning her DMD from MUSC, Dr. Connar made the Deans List and won the AAWD Eleanor Bushee Senior Women Dentists Award.
She has spent time volunteering at multiple local dental clinics, and has four years of experience as a Research Specialist at MUSC. She is an experienced dental practitioner who has worked with patients of all ages. Dr. Connar is married to her college sweetheart, Casey. Together they enjoy boating, travelling, trying new restaurants, and taking their black lab, Briar, to the beach.
Dentist Dr. Bethany A. Herbert earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) after graduating from the College of Charleston where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology and received the Presidential Scholarship.
