Mitchell A. Pierce, Jr., DMD has been a practicing dentist in Louisiana for 40 years. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan and was awarded an American Dental Education Fund Scholarship which included the last year of undergrad school and his entire years at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Ma. Dr. Pierce completed the American Academy of Implant Dentistry/ implant training program at the Medical College of Georgia
Dr. Pierce is the first dentist to attain the Fellowship with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry in the Southeast Louisiana area. Also, he has a fellowship with the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Pierce has been involved with surgical placement and restoration of dental implants for more than 26 years. He has also lectured for various Dental implant companies, dental societies, organizations and has performed live dental implant surgery demonstrations. He is licensed to practice in Louisiana, Texas and Arizona
Lisa is our certified extended duty dental assistant. She loves to help people and is excellent in calming the fears and apprehension of patients before their treatment. She is willing to go that extra mile to make sure our patients understand she is there for them. Lisa loves to read and is affluent in Spanish

After 30+ years we found Dr. Pierce again and he's still on point, efficient, proficient and professional. Dr. Pierce is very family oriented & would recommend to all families & friends.

If you hate going to the dentist, this is the dentist for you. Dr. Pierce is knowledgeable, professional, and affable. His staff is equally outstanding. The waiting room is small but comfortable and nicely appointed. The treatment rooms are well equipped, hygienic, and comfortable.

Dr Pierce was my first dentist over 30 years ago. I moved away and when returning back to New Orleans and needed dental care. It was clearly a no brainer that Dr Pierce was my choice to do my dental implant. And although I've since relocated out of state, I now travel back and forth because he is the best! Lisa and Jessica are great and obviously experienced as well. The atmosphere is always light and everyone make me feel totally relaxed. Thanks you guys!

I first met Dr. Pierce while hosting a local Radio Show on a News Talk station several years ago. I was immediately impressed with his knowledge and passion for helping people find their best smile. Dr. pierce takes the time to explain your options and it's clear that he is a big on continuing education, as he keeps up with the latest medical treatments and trends. I was impressed from the moment I walked into their welcoming lobby and greeted by Lisa and Leon, his very friendly staff. I recently saw Dr. Pierce for a bad toothache. I called on a Friday, in excruciating pain. Dr. Pierce was away at a medical conference. However, his accommodating staff delivered my message and Dr. Pierce called me that same day from his cell phone and we spoke about what could be causing such pain. He recommended some short-term solutions to manage the pain. It worked. I got through the weekend. I was seen on Monday as soon as I could get there. The staff at SmileSolutionsDMD never make me feel like I'm being a pain, even with all my questions! I highly recommend SmileSolutionsDMD.

Absolutely one of the best around! After much research and experiences with other Dentists I have found my Smile again with Dr. Mitchell A. Pierce Jr., DMD. I have had many dentists in my past and everything from Root-Canals to Extractions to fillings, sensitive teeth etc.... I feel at home with Dr. Pierce and the staff at SmilesolutionsDMD and recommended the staff here to any and everyone; The options are presented and explained very well. I appreciate Dr. Pierce and staff and highly recommend them to all.

After hearing a Radio ad for Smile Solutions and presently feeling some tooth discomfort I took the next step and made an appointment. The Dental Office Staff and Dr. Pierce are "Top Notch". I was running behind for my scheduled appointment due to work obligations and the staff said come on, and take your time we'll be here when you get here! I arrived 20min later and I was greeted warmly and after the standard X-rays for New Patients' I was in the chair and being taken care of. If you're in the market for a new dentist I would recommend Dr. Pierce and his dental practice. They have a new client for sure.
