Dr. Ceraolo was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. Beginning in kindergarten, she knew shewanted to grow up to be a pediatric dentist, since she admired the work of her own pediatricdentist and the joy he brought children after improving their smiles.Growing up a Gator fan, she followed in her mothers footsteps and attended college atUniversity of Florida. She received an undergraduate degree in Food Science and HumanNutrition with a specialization in Nutritional Sciences.Dr. Ceraolo then moved to Baltimore to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universityof Maryland School of Dentistry, becoming the first doctor in her family. Upon graduation, shemade her way back to her home state to enhance her dental skills in an AEGD program inNaples, Florida. Her pediatric dental residency program with NYU Langone took her back toMaryland for two years, treating the children on the Eastern Shore.Dr. Ceraolo has always been very passionate about community service, dedicating her time tovolunteering throughout high school, college, and dental school. She served as her dental classcommunity service chair, alongside Dr. Virden, for all four years of dental school and they wereawarded the Baltimore Alumni Chapter, Alpha Omega International DentalFraternityScholarship. Dr. Ceraolo was an active member of many organizations at UMBSODand served as vice president of the Student Dental Association, Healthy Smiles for BaltimoreKids Club, and the American Student Dental Association. For completing over 200 hours ofcommunity service, she was one of seven students in her dental class to be honored with theDeans Award for Outstanding Community Service. She plans to continue this dedication tohelping others throughout her career and life.Dr. Ceraolo enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running outdoors, and drinkingcoffee whenever she can. She is excited to be returning to Maryland, a place that is now hersecond home, to begin her career at smiles4children.

We took my son for his first dentist visit at 16 months, from the moment we walked in all of the staff was super nice, the exam couldn't have gone better despite my son screaming the whole time, they were super helpful answering questions and making sure we were comfortable and knew what we needed before we left! Would definitely recommend!

The front desk ladies are always friendly and efficient. Everyone who cleans my daughters' teeth are gentle and kind. Dr. Jahnagen is the best! Always takes time to explain and talk about any concerns. Going to the dentist is always easy because we've always been treated so well.

We had our first visit today and we were so pleased with this office. The environment was GREAT for kids and the doctor was so nice and knowledgeable and explained everything in detail to me. They did not try to do extra work unnecessarily and made my son comfortable the whole time. He's even excited to go back lol. I already recommended this office to my family members and am so happy I found it through my insurance.

As a kindergarten teacher seeing the staff at Smiles 4 Children having patience and understanding of expectations for a 4 year old patient was remarkable. They encourage questions and take time to understand their patient, offerings rewards for tasks, which encourages a positive experience for children. I can't say enough how incredibly happy I was with our experience. We are looking forward to a continued experience with future visits.

The dentist basically traumatized my 2 year old son. His first ever trip to the dentist and absolutely no sympathy was shown. The dentist had us pin my son down and hold his mouth open just so he could count his teeth while my son was screaming in fear and the dentist was repeatedly saying "don't worry this is normal". Completely uncalled for. My son cried for a hour after we left and is now scared of all doctors. I will never be back and highly recommend you go to your normal dentist that will show sympathy and compassion. To make this even better this is the second time I am posting this they removed my first review! DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU WHAT IS "NORMAL" FOR YOUR FAMILY. It's just a paycheck to them.

Dr. Nashed is amazing! My son could not stop talking about how funny and nice "his" doctor is. He thought this was the coolest dentist office ever and is so excited to go back for another visit. I highly recommend smiles4children!

We love Dr. Virden!!!! She interacts so well with my kiddo. She's thorough and answers all my questions. The office staff is just lovely and of course the office itself is so fun! My son actually loves going to the dentist! Todays visit was extra special because the playground structure in the waiting room is finally opened again! We love Smiles 4 Children in Eldersburg! Highly recommend!!

Amazing! My 3 y.o. loved the office play areas. The doctor and assistants were great! My kid got his first exam done no problem. Especially considering that he had not cooperated in a regular family dental office. At Smiles4Children they do know how to interact with kids.

My interactions with the staff at Smiles4Children were out of this world this week. When my 7 year old suddenly had an aversion to going to the dentist I called and spoke to the team ahead of time earlier last week. I felt truly heard as a parent and I appreciated how they took time with both mom and child ahead of time. We made a game plan ahead of time for my son to bring his own toothpaste and brush his teeth at the dentist office. While not the ideal dental appointment, I really valued the ability for both Dr. Simon and the rest of the staff to be patient with him. His appointment didn't look like his sister's today but it is exactly what he needed. At the end of the day both kids got their teeth checked and clean so it was a win win kind of day at Smiles4Children.

First dentist appointment for my 2 yr old daughter today. I was shocked they were even able to get her to open her mouth. Dr. Ceraolo was fantastic! We went home covered in stickers with a prize bag. Will definitely be coming back!

I can not recommend Dr. Simon & her staff highly enough! My daughter has special needs & her appointments for cleaning/check-ups can be challenging, to say the least! Dr. Simon & her staff treat my daughter with care, respect, & kindness as they quickly & efficiently take care of business.

My children have been patients of Dr Simon for almost 15 years. We really like her and the staff at the Ellicott City and Catonsville offices. They are the best!! My kids have never complained about going to the dentist. Ms. Karen, one of the dental assistants, is fantastic and super nice. I love how Dr Simon and her staff constantly praise the children for being awesome patients! I don't see myself going anywhere else.
