Dr. Ceraolo was born and raised in Clearwater, Florida. Beginning in kindergarten, she knew shewanted to grow up to be a pediatric dentist, since she admired the work of her own pediatricdentist and the joy he brought children after improving their smiles.Growing up a Gator fan, she followed in her mothers footsteps and attended college atUniversity of Florida. She received an undergraduate degree in Food Science and HumanNutrition with a specialization in Nutritional Sciences.Dr. Ceraolo then moved to Baltimore to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Universityof Maryland School of Dentistry, becoming the first doctor in her family. Upon graduation, shemade her way back to her home state to enhance her dental skills in an AEGD program inNaples, Florida. Her pediatric dental residency program with NYU Langone took her back toMaryland for two years, treating the children on the Eastern Shore.Dr. Ceraolo has always been very passionate about community service, dedicating her time tovolunteering throughout high school, college, and dental school. She served as her dental classcommunity service chair, alongside Dr. Virden, for all four years of dental school and they wereawarded the Baltimore Alumni Chapter, Alpha Omega International DentalFraternityScholarship. Dr. Ceraolo was an active member of many organizations at UMBSODand served as vice president of the Student Dental Association, Healthy Smiles for BaltimoreKids Club, and the American Student Dental Association. For completing over 200 hours ofcommunity service, she was one of seven students in her dental class to be honored with theDeans Award for Outstanding Community Service. She plans to continue this dedication tohelping others throughout her career and life.Dr. Ceraolo enjoys spending time with her family and friends, running outdoors, and drinkingcoffee whenever she can. She is excited to be returning to Maryland, a place that is now hersecond home, to begin her career at smiles4children.
