Dr. Danika Crabtreewas selected to join our practice because of her exceptional clinical abilities and shared values in patient care. Dr. Crabtrees enthusiasm and clinical skills make her an ideal practitioner for our communitys periodontal needs.
She received her Bachelors degree at Brandeis University in Waltham, MA.After working in the field of Microbiology as a QualityAnalyst, she decided to return to dental school. She practiced in Florida, but is a native of Rhode Island and is excited to be back in New England.
Dr. Crabtree is trained in surgical and nonsurgical periodontal treatment. She has extensive training in dental implants. As a periodontist, she will bring her esthetic eye to the placement of implants. Dr. Crabtree also performs extractions, including wisdom teeth.
Debora DaSilvahas extensive experience as an Office Manager and adds great support to our front office. She is fluent in Portuguese and English, which always aids in the assistance of our patients and staff. She loves to serve our patients with her time and focus, always making their experience the best it can be from the moment they step into our office.
Debora is also a musician, and attended Berklee College of Music. She loves to volunteer her time by serving the community. She lives in Revere, MA, and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Liliana Connolly was born in Celaya Guanajuato, Mexico. She is a 2007 graduate of Valle de Mexico University, where she earned a bachelors degree in Communication Science. She moved to the United States in 2012.
Liliana has worked in different professional fields providing the greatest Customer Service to her clients. She speaks English and Spanish. She is warm and caring and always looking to help people. She lives in Boston and she likes movies, and spending time with friends and family. She is also a radio host in a Spanish radio and enjoys collaborating with the mass media.
Eliaciis an experienced dental assistant. Shestarted her career workingas a nursein Brazil for many years. She became interested in dentistry and started working as a dental assistant in 2001. She loves what she does. Eliaci iscertified in Radiology, OSHA, and CPR. Shetakes continuing education courses on a regular basis tolearn new technologies.As an assistant, Eliaci is highly skilled at taking xrays.She has a gentle touch and she strives to make each patientfeel as comfortable as possible.She makes every patients experience as pleasant as possible. She is now semi-retired.
Eliaci is originally from Brazil, but has been an American for many years.She is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.More recently, she obtained certification in Interior Design and pursues this in her free time.

A few years ago I had something like a revelation while sitting in a chair at Smiles Over Somerville. "Huh," I thought, "getting a root canal here is better than being at work." I'd have laughed if I didn't have a bite block in my mouth. I was comfortable, surrounded by extremely competent, friendly people, and at the end of the day I'd be better off than I was at the beginning. None of which could be said about my job. Needless to say, I soon left that job but I do still go to Dr. Chang and her team. And even though I've never had to have another root canal (thankfully!), my experiences there have all been equally positive. Going to the dentist can be absolutely miserable, but somehow the team at Smiles Over Somerville manage to actually make it pleasant. Kudos to them.

Family practice with professionalism and kindness. Dr Chan is very passionate about the health of her patients and attentive. She is very thorough. Going to the dentist is not my cup of tea but it helps when the staff is gentle and experienced.

Highly recommend this practice! The staff are very friendly and professional. Dr. Chang is a great, gentle dentist who takes the time to explain everything she's doing and makes her patients feel comfortable. Even if I move out of town I will continue to see Dr. Chang!

Dr Chan is great and my whole family sees her. She's been seeing my children since they were 1 years old. She and her staff are great with kids and make them feel comfortable. My husband had previous bad experiences with dentists and they have a very gentle hand with him. I think this place is great!

I had an appointment for possible gum problem. After an xray we found the problem was a small cavity. Since the dentist was a gum specialist only, we scheduled an appointment fpr Thursday with Dr. Chang. It turned out well since I was not looking forward to any serious gum issues!
