Dr. Ethan Larson is originally from the Northwest, growing up in Bothell, Washington. After earning a B.A. in Biology from Covenant College, he attended the University of Alabama Dental School, where he received his doctorate degree in dental medicine.
Dr. Larson was among a very select few chosen to continue post-graduate education in orthodontics. Three more years of intense orthodontic residency provided Dr. Larson with a post-doctoral degree, specifically, a masters degree (M.S.) in Oral Biology and a Certificate of Specialty in Orthodontics.
Today, he remains passionate about his work as an orthodontist in Puyallup, Graham and the surrounding areas. In order to provide the best care for his patients, Dr. Larson strives to stay at the forefront of the latest research, treatment and technologies.

I am super disappointed in Smiles Ortho. I got my braces when Dr. Larson first began and it was Smiles By Sutherland. I grew up getting my braces treatment here along with my brother. Unfortunately, I recently lost both of my clear retainers while moving and I really just needed to get new retainers from stopping my teeth shifting anymore in the meantime. Given my financial situation, I asked if I could make monthly payments for the $450 new set of retainers and they were not willing to help me or work with me at all as it would need to be upfront only. The financial advisor Taylor said she talked to Dr. Larsen and they still said they have no options for me nor did they have any recommendations. I feel like sad that my childhood ortho seems to only care about the money and have no regard for your situation. I live in Portland now and was willing to drive but it is sad they chose not to help. "At Smiles Orthodontics, we believe that financial considerations should not be an obstacle to obtaining a beautiful smile. Therefore, we provide several options for payment on your orthodontic treatment." I would like to share my experience at Smiles Orthodontics. Being older (66) I was very reluctant. Dr.larson and all of his staff are so nice. They made the process easy. I am soooo glad that I made the investment. Three years later I'm so pleased with my teeth and smile. Please tell any of your "older" patients to GO FOR IT. It was kinda fun being the oldest guy around the office.

We have had an amazing experience with Smiles. From the first day we went in for consultation and a second opinion, we were treated with kindness and compassion. They were able to fully explain the orthodontic process and start treatment the same day! Our subsequent visits have been prompt, efficient and there was always coffee for me (before COVID-19) while my kiddo was getting evaluation and treatment. I cannot recommend this place enough! They have made the orthodontia process a great experience. If you are looking for orthodontic treatment in Puyallup or Graham this is the place to go!

I am truly happy with the team at Smile Orthodontics! The staff is so welcoming, they took the initiative in keeping me constantly updated with my appointments, following up after visits and immaculate customer care while in for a visit! I thought the process for putting braces on was going to be terrifying but they made it super quick and painless. I can't wait to continue my routinely visits with them and watch my smile turn into what I've always dreamed of! I have 2 sons one had braces elsewhere not a very good experience!! I brought my son Alex Here at smiles orthodontics I highly recommend this place .For one the office staff is Amazingly sweet and understanding and always greet you with a smile and on a first name basis like we are family. The girls in the Back awesome talk you thur everything they are doing and just carry on a good conversation as much as they can while they work on your teeth .The doctor is a funny guy very To the point on what hes going to do On your teeth very professional bed side Manner and that's important to me.my sons teeth needed work alot actually. He still has his braces on and he already has more confidence in his smile..I give them 10 starts

You deserve to be treated right and blessed and you will be with Dr. Ethan Larson and Staff. I have had invisaligns for a little over a year with Dr. Larson. It has been exciting to see my teeth change and look nice. My dentist Dr. Robert McBride and my oral surgeon Dr. Michael Chiulli-Trillium Dental are very pleased that I am seeing Dr. Larson. I am 66 years young and always wanted my teeth looking nice. I was self conscious of my teeth. I am proud now. It feels good to know you are with someone who wants the best for you and will make that happen. You will feel very proud and share with your your friends. Take care of yourself.

Dr. Larson and the entire office are incredible. So convenient, helpful, knowledgeable and flexible. They recommend treatments that fit the patient, not one size fits all. I visited three ortho offices before booking with Dr. Larson and highly recommend you book with this practice. Both of my daughters are in treatment then I decided to get Invisalign for me. You won't regret being patient of this caring practice. And, you'll love their updated offices too!

We're extremely pleased with Smiles Orthodontics! The staff is super friendly and always got us in immediately if we needed. Our appointments were always on time, we never had to wait. We were on the 2 Year Plan and, since my son followed directions and wore his rubber bands as directed, he got his braces off in the 2 years. Dr Larson is very knowledgeable and helpful. Thanks for helping make my son's smile perfect!!!
