Dr. LaMonica Davis Taylor is a native of Mound Bayou, Mississippi. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Spelman College and her DMD degree from the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry. Dr. Taylor completed a one-year general practice residency and a two-year residency specializing in pediatric dentistry at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, New York. As a child, Dr. Taylor always knew that she wanted to work in healthcare, and in adulthood she became certain that working with children was her calling. Dr. Taylor has traveled the country over and has participated in and attended various dental programs at institutions such as The University of Texas at Houston, University of California at San Francisco, University of Connecticut, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, New York University, and The University of Mississippi Medical Center. She returned to Mississippi with a passion and energy to provide specialized dental care for children and special-needs adults. She has received advanced training in child psychology, developmental disabilities, and infant oral health. Dr. Taylor is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists, American Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Association, Mississippi Dental Society, and the founder of the LaMonica Davis Foundation. Dr. Taylor is board certified and is a diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Taylor enjoys teaching and taught at the University of Mississippi Medical Center's School of Dentistry for three years (2015-2018). She has worked in public health in the Mississippi Delta with the Delta Health Center where she was the first and only pediatric dentist in Hollandale, Mississippi. Her general anesthesia affiliations include Merit Health Madison Hospital, Merit Health Central Hospital and Merit Health Rankin Hospital.
Our mission at Smiles on Broadway Dental Care for kids is to provide a comprehensive dental home for infants, children, adolescents, and special-needs adults in a safe and carefree environment. We hope to educate patients and parents about oral health and its importance by encouraging healthy dental habits that will ultimately create sound, beautiful smiles. As a dental clinic, we strive to establish and maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence and competence.

SmilesonBroadway is the best dentist in Jackson area. I'm never disappointed when I leave there. Dr. Taylor takes good care of me & her staff is very kind, respectful, and caring.

Very professional and skilled, top to bottom and front to back. Cannot recommend them more highly. Dr.Taylor is so thorough and informative, and lets you know every step of the way what's going on so there are no surprises. Very calming, as well. Thanks to the entire team for making our first vist AWESOME

I love this Clinic. The Doctor and Staff are great. They get you in and out in a timely manner and for that I love it. I'm always recommending Smiles on Broadway to everyone I meet.

I do not recommend this doctor. I took my daughter to check and fix a cavity and she told me that there was no problem, that my daughter would naturally lose her tooth. 3 weeks later my daughter had a large abscess with infection. they don't return my calls.

My 6 yr old son with special needs was terrified of having his teeth cleaned. From the moment we arrived the staff recognized his apprehension then calmly reassured him about all of his concerns. Dr. Taylor and her Smiles on Broadway staff truly made our dental visit a hit!

Dr. Taylor is amazing! Her staff is amazing and we have always had great experiences! During these troublesome times, the clinic made sure they took the proper safety precautions to protect my child and themselves. I appreciate the way my child is made to feel comfortable and I trust them to take great care of her! We love Smiles on Broadway!!

She's the BEST pediatric dentist hands down. My kids love her. The office is nicely decorated, clean and kid-friendly. Dr. Taylor is so professional and very kind; great staff, little wait time with appointments....what more can I say?

Dr.Taylor and her staff are fantastic. I have never been any where where the Doctor and staff are so friendly, Kind, helpful, and best hospitality ever. I'm so glad I found this dentist office they are exceptional with kids. I would refer or recommend to anyone who is in need of a pediatric dentist.
