Dr. Thompson is a Jacksonville, Florida native. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, Cole, and their adopted dog and cat, Doug and Louie. On Saturdays you can find her rooting on the Florida Gators or relaxing at the beach with a good book! Her hobbies include cooking, working out, and being outdoors.

This was my first visit to Smiles and it was for emergency visit. They not only made room for me but Carrie on the desk - Camille in getting me prepped for doc - Dr Thompson and Finance Specialist made this the most professional and pleasant dentist visit I have ever experienced in my 55 years. Plan of action with options was clear and concise along with my cost and what to expect was so different than anywhere else I have received care. I could not be happier that in my time of need and in search of a new dentist closer to where I now live that I landed at this large and busy office that obviously truly cares to give patients a good experience in dental care!! If you are not happy where you are ... Switch to SMILE - you won't be disappointed!! Debrann

I visited Smiles on bch blvd nov 2, 2022. It was a consult like no other I ever experienced the were polite n curteous in every way never leaving me alone in the room for more than 90 seconds. They gave me every last detail right down to the penny n left the room for 60 seconds coming back to tell me they found a cheaper rate for my needs. Dr Leonard n his assistant were so nice ot was unbelievable n I left there feeling very confidant that my needs would be their top priority in giving me back the self confidence I lack imn my appearance n smile. Thank you Dr. LEONARD AMD YOUR ASSISTANT AS WELL AS YOUR TEAM. THEY AS WELL AS YOURSELF SHOWED NOTHING BUT PROFFESSIONALISM AND TRUE COMPASSION IN MY NEEDS N CONFIDENCE... RESPECTFULLY SHEENA DAVIS

It was for a routine cleaning. Mark did an excellent job on my teeth. He was gentle and considerate.The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because they keep adding charges to the bill for additional services

I begrudgingly made an appointment after a filling fell out and they were able to fit me in the day after, even as a new patient! All the front desk staff were absolutely wonderful and made my check in process painless and quick. The dental tech who was assisting was absolutely incredible and helped quell a lot of my anxiety. After being told I needed a root canal, the office quickly set me up with a referral to a dental specialist and even helped walk me through the steps and follow up. It's scary to be told you need a dental procedure, but the folks at this office were kind, compassionate, and out of this world with their service of care. As much as I hate the dentist, I look forward to being a continued patient at this location.

Smiles on the Beach dentistry did a fine and complete job cleaning my teeth and applying a fluoride treatment (Cammy), meeting my expectations. They are professional, polite, enthusiastic and thorough.

The entire staff has been professional and friendly. Emma is the best, she is both knowledgeable and treated me with care and concern for my satisfaction. I'm glad they took care of my dental needs.

I had an emergency, texted Emma, who worked me into Dr. Leonard's busy schedule yesterday. A solution was created with Diago taking it on so I had a good resolution by the end of the day! What a team!!!

Wonderful experience I have started the process of getting a full lower arch with 6 implants. Doctor Leonard and his staff are the best. I have now had my temporary teeth for 2 weeks and all is really good. Looking forward to the permanent teeth with a few months. I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for the best. Will post more as my complete process goes forward.
