Dr. Rautio has been serving the dental community for over 24 years. She has climbed the ranks from dental assistant/receptionist, registered dental hygienist, to dentist- graduating from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1999.
She is a member of the AmericanDental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Delaware State Dental Society and is currently an assistant attending dentist at the Christiana Care Dental Clinic in Wilmington, Delaware. She continues to stay abreast of the current technology, techniques, and academics of dentistry so that she can best serve her patients and profession.
Dr. Rautio and her dedicated team are caring, compassionate and warm-hearted individuals. They are truly committed to helping their patients achieve a beautiful and healthy smile. The visit and the exam went great! Dr. Erin Rautio is an exceptional dentist. My new hygienist cleaned and gave me the best smile in the Wilmington office. Highly, I recommend Smiles of Wilmington as your next dentist.

I highly do not recommend this dental practice if you don't want your appointments cancelled. I made a 6pm appointment months ago, knowing I could only go after work and when my newborn could be watched, rearranging our entire schedule to make it to the appointment. When I arrived I was told I would need to reschedule because I did not reply to text message notifications. I was sure I opted out of those, but it is hard to keep track-I get dozens of text messages a day- I do not understand why making an appointment is not considered confirmation enough? It used to be. What do people do who do not have cell phone/internet access? It is hard enough to find time to go to appointments for yourself. They could not re-schedule me until mid January. Forget it. My husband and I will be finding a new dentist. I was so hopeful I finally found a dentist I liked but this is definitely not it.

Smiles of Wilmington is an awesome dental practice. I've been a patient for 15+ years and have always received top of the line care. My grandchildren were beyond excited to return to Dr Rautio for their 6 mo visit because it was such a positive experience. The entire staff at this Dental office are warm, cheery and accommodating. I have recommended many friends and aquaintances to this office with many positive results. I will continue to refer people to this office. 5 and hands down the best care in the area.
