Dr. Pantea Khazraee has been practicing general dentistry in Port Orange, Fla., for over 17 years. She finished her premedical studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. Here she was awarded the Golden Key Honor Society membership. In 1994, she obtained a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Maryland Dental School in Baltimore.
Dr. Ernesto I. Torres has over 30 years of experience in general dentistry. He completed his BS at the University of Iowa in 1975 and received his DMD from the University of Puerto Rico in 1979. Following graduation, Dr. Torres joined the U.S. Navy Dental Corps and worked as a general dentist until 1982. He holds a Mastership in the Academy of General Dentistry, the highest level of recognition for continuing dental education, awarded to less than one percent of U.S. and Canadian dentists.
He has completed all continuums offered by the Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education, and he continues to attend courses there. He completed a one-year program of Implant Dentistry at the Boston Seminar of Harvard University in 1992. In 2001, he completed a post graduate program in Esthetic Dentistry at the University of Florida, Gainesville in addition to advanced TMJ training and mini-residencies in cranial facial pain.
Dr. Torres has given back to his community, for over 15 years, through his work at the Duvall Home in Glenwood, Fla., an institution for handicapped children and adults. For the past 17 years, he has participated extensively in medical missions to Central America sponsored by St. Peters Episcopal Church of Lake Mary, Fla.
He enjoys fishing, golfing and bicycle riding. He has been married to wife Annabella for 38 years, and he is the proud father of Ernesto, Anabella and Ruben (deceased). His goal is to establish long lasting, comfortable relationships with his patients. He prides himself on staying on the cutting edge of dental technology and patient communication.

Had a broken tooth, and was in some pain. Called their office, and got me right in. Dr. Pantea Khazraee took her time to explain everything to me that she was going to do, and answered all my questions. I had gone to one of my prior Drs. And she wouldn't help me. She put some cement on it to hold me over until I figure out what I wanted her to do, then submitted a claim for a charge of $56 at my cost. Thank you Dr. Pantea Khazraee to you, and your staff for all you kindness, and understanding. She also gave a credit to my friend for the referral. I will definitely be back. She is my dentist from here on out.

The best dentist/oral surgeon I have ever seen. Professional, genius and great bedside manner. I'm leaving my current dentist and moving my family to `Smiles of P.O.` If you have a tough dental issue, this is the place for you. I am seriuously blown away by how awesome this Doc is!!

Absolutely the best dentist I have ever been to! So gentle, so patient, no judgement. I needed an emergency extraction with no insurance. The office got me in the same day within a couple hours. The price was better than everyone else I had called that couldn't get me in till next week or the week after. He was literally done before I realized he had started. Absolutely no pain what so ever. If I could give 12 stars I would!!! UPDATE: 6-7hrs later, pain meds wore off, still no pain whatsoever. VERY GENTLE TOUCH.

What a fantastic office. I walked in with a broken tooth and walked out happy as could be. Doc explained everything about how the tooth broke and my options, I felt very relaxed the entire time. Doc and her assistant worked overtime to make my mouth right as they could. I will and would HIGHLY recommend this professional office for the best dentistry in Daytona area. Thanks Doc! FYI pain was minimal I took nothing for an extraction!!!

I honestly can not thank these people enough! Dr. Ernesto and his whole staff were just absolutely amazing! When no other dentist office would help me or not want to charge me an arm an a leg. Dr. Ernesto and his team welcomed me in and made feel so comfortable and got me out of pain! Thank you so much again!

I recently moved to Florida and was looking for a new dentist. I found Smiles of Port Orange and they were able to get me in quickly and were very friendly on the phone. I saw Dr. Torres and the assistant Jocelyn today and they were wonderful! They were very patient with any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend.

First time at this office. My 96 year old mother had broken a tooth from her plate. We called they took us right in. The Dr. could not have been better. She was professional, kind and friendly. The office is beautiful, spotless clean and well managed. We know where we will go for all of our dental needs. Thanks for caring!

This is a wonderful dental office! Everyone from the receptionist to Dr Khazraee were so pleasant and helpful. This was my first time there due to a problem I was having. I got right in the day I called. Dr Khazraee was able to take care of my issue during this visit. She explained everything patiently and thoroughly. Was given great care and treated as if I was a regular patient. Great experience! I would recommend them!

Awesome people.... came to my rescue on a Friday evening at 5 pm. Had a root canal by another dentist and by the afternoon i was in excruciating pain. When i couldn't get in touch with my original Dentist, I reached out to them like I said on a Friday at 4:45 and they said get here ASAP! I was there by 5, as soon as I sat down Dr. Torres said come with me. Within 15 minutes of talking and a little bit of work on me, he had my pain from an 8 to 4. I was extremely relieved and extremely thankful! He's is now my new Dentist!! I can tell you that even on a Friday afternoon at 5pm, with me who was not a patient of theirs at that time, they were thorough, patient and friendly! Highly recommended!!

Dr. Torres at SMILES is an amazing Dentist! Dr. Torres allowed me to accompany my husband during the exam-the extraction. I've had many dentists work on myself, unfortunately, through my lifetime but never have I seen such patience. Dr. Torres explained everything so very slowly and clearly. My husband didn't feel any pain at all. Dr. Torres has hands of a man who's career is his passion. He and his staff are marvelous: Nice, knowledgeable and patient.
