Dr. Kaur is a member of the American Dental Association (ADA), American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), American Orthodontic Society (AOS),Georgia Dental Association (GDA), andNorthern District Dental Association (NDDA)
Choosing dentistry as profession came naturally to Dr. Kaur as she comes from a family of Physicians and Dentists. Dr. Kaur is committed to ethical, conservative approach to dentistry. She believes strongly in patient education, personalized service and long term relationships.
Dr. Kaur received her Dental degree from prestigious Boston University Henry Goldman school of Dental Medicine. She has been in private practice for over 15 years. She strives to stay up to date with all changes occurring in dentistry and has taken several hundred hours of continuing education courses focusing on Dental Implant and Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Kaur is certified in Invisalign (invisible braces) and advanced in office whitening techniques. She has completed several Cosmetic Dentistry courses including Comprehensive restorative techniques for Full mouth Rehabilitation.
Dr. Kaur has taken extensive training for placing and restoring Dental Implants from Georgia Regents University College of Dental Medicine. She is a graduate of AAID Maxicourse provided by Georgia Regents University and is an Associate Fellow of AAID. She strongly believes that Dental
and has seen many of her patient's smiles transform in last 15 years. Having been through the Invisalign process herself, she is a strong advocate of this technique for Adult patients who want to improve their smile.
In addition to Invisalign, Dr. Kaur has received training in doing traditional braces for children and Teens. She trained with American Orthodontic Society in their straight-wire Orthodontic technique. This helps her young patients with crowding, spacing and other bite problems get treatment in the same office without having to go to a specialist.
Dr. Kaur is active in her community visiting local schools for educating children about importance of good oral health. She also volunteers at several community events including Special Olympics. She considers herself blessed to share her life with her husband and two children.

I have been looking for a good dentist office and I finally found it. This is the one. They are thorough, clean, friendly, honest, and outstanding in every measure. Dr Shokoufi is a master and he knows his stuff really really well. His hands are wrapped in silk. Above all he is honest and tells you what works best for you. There are many parking spots in the plaza. From the outside it looks like a small office but once inside, it is impressive. I strongly recommend you give this office a try.

Dr. Shokoufi is great, experienced, professional, and honest. I spent the last 5 years looking for a good dentist where I can go on a regular base to start working on my teeth without being stressed or hateful to that day. I have a sensitive teeth and my tolerance for pain is almost zero. Dr. Shokoufi has given me a great and smooth experience. No more pain or stress with a great results every time. Highly recommend him.

Dr. Shokoufi is great and experienced dentist. His new place is very nice and clean. He spend so much time explaining the issues and answer all the questions and concerns. I'm sure no one like to go to dentist but Dr Shokoufi is the first dentist I don't hesitate to see every six months.

Absolutely incredible staff and doctors. I hadn't been to the dentist in ~3 years due to fears and whatnot but the staff a Smiles was extremely welcoming. I didn't feel pain or discomfort the entire time and they made it feel warm. Great atmosphere, great doctors and staff.

My dentist is soooooo wonderful.. She is so considerate and patient while she works on you.. Skillful perfectionist..! I love my dentist!! I highly recommend Smiles of Johns creek.. The best dentist on the North side of Atlanta!!

I had such a pleasant experience today. Everyone was so friendly and there were no surprises when it came to prices and insurance coverage. Dr. Kaur and her staff were so pleasant! Thank you for a lovely experience at the dentist office!

This office will take advantage of you, overcharge and not honor their promises. I paid 1500 for a crown which was never finished with permanent glue it is now cut open and they refuse to fix it because A DIFFERENT dentist than I was seeing purchased the practice. SAVE YOUR MONEY go to ConfiDENT a much nicer dentistry who is honest and won't screw you over & they're not too far. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Georgia board. They will tell you you need Crowns that are not even true they LIE go get another opinion for your sake. I saved over 3K so far as well as unnecessary pain from things they suggest which don't actually need to be done the way they say.

The office is run by another dentist now. I had my "deep cleaning" done today, but I was very skeptical on the procedure. I was scheduled to have one side done today, then they told me I could have both side done in a same visit. So, I had my four quadrants "deep cleaning" done today in about one hour (Dr.Bae used to spend about one hour for a regular cleaning). No anesthesia and my gum was not numb. After the procedure, I felt nothing. It was more like a regular cleaning than a so-called "deep cleaning". I was not fully understanding how a "deep cleaning" process should be done during that time, so I checked online afterward. From the knowledge that I have gathered, either I didn't need a "deep cleaning" at the first place, or the "deep cleaning" procedure was not done appropriately. It was a completely different experience from Dr. Bae in a bad way.

I don't give 5 stars lightly. They genuinely earned it. I called around 2pm after leaving work as a music teacher with immense pain. I have never been a patient at Smiles, and literally found them on Google. I just needed this pain gone. Dr. Bae was set to leave after she finished with her current patient, but said I could stop by. By 3pm, I was in her chair. I was scared honestly at first. I figured it was going to be the same run-around from every other dentist: "Here is a prescription for antibiotics and ibuprofen...go home...come back in a few days." Nope! She was ready to assess the situation right there, and other than some small pain of having a tooth pulled which is normal, less than 24 hours later I am doing great! I can't thank the staff at Smiles enough for the care they gave me. I also didn't have insurance, and they are very fairly priced for 'cash-pay' patients. Needless to say, I don't regret my visit at all, and I highly suggest this place to anyone in need of a good dentist.
