Dr. Osen Ogufere is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago, where she received first-rate training in all aspects of general dentistry. Dr. Ogufere has decided to focus on family and cosmetic dentistry. Her vision led to the establishment of Smiles of Gurnee which is dedicated to bringing patients high quality dental care in a state of the art office.

I'm so happy I found Dr. Ogufere!! I've been going to her now for over year for cleanings and each time I visit she exceeds my expectations. She is so gentle, kind, and professional. I've never felt more comfortable in a dentist chair. Today I had a filling done for a small chip in my tooth, I was in and out in 35 minutes. I was really self conscious about my smile before but thanks to Dr. Ogufere I feel confident again. I highly recommend her!! The following pictures are before and after my filling.

Honestly I hate going to the dentist and find every way to get out of it but Doctor O is absolutely pleasing and makes me feel so comfortable and welcome so I don't mind going to smiles of Gurnee! It's like I'm hanging with my home girl. Very considerate of everything. 10/10 I highly recommend. ~Dorianna Hanson

Having lived in Gurnee over 23 years this is the BEST Dentist is the area! The staff and Dentist make you feel so welcomed. I have never been to a dentist that cares about you as a patient.. always asking you during a procedure it you are Ok. I have sent several friends to Smiles of Gurnee all of them so Happy!!

I had my teeth cleaned at Smiles of Gurnee. I am a dental hygienist and I cannot clean my own teeth thoroughly! Dr. O did an awesome job and it was a pleasant experience!

Great experience here, I had a filling done previously and you can't even tell I had one since it blends in so nice with my teeth. Cleanings done are great here, they let you know if there is anything to worry about and options to deal with it if they find an issue. I'd recommend going here for dentist needs.

Smiles of Gurnee has been one of the most pleasant Dentist Offices that we have been to. From the cool shades that they give you during cleaning, to the utmost friendly service at the front office, as well as the dental assistance, and most of all Dr. Ogufere and Marla (Dental Hyg) for her technical and her awesome bedside manner. I love the proximity to this office as it is walking distance to my house, and everyone is super friendly! Thanks for making dentistry awesome Smiles of Gurnee Dental!

I absolutely LOVE Smiles of Gurnee Dental! Dr. Ogufere and all of her staff are amazing. They made sure I felt comfortable and ok, understood everything, great service, and gave me many suggestions. I have never felt so comfortable anywhere else. My youngest son was not thrilled to go at all but he fell in love with Dr. O and her staff so much that he wants to go all the time now ! I would recommend to anyone looking. Not only do you feel welcomed here but your feelings and concerns matter.

I waited a few months to get a cavity filled and the dentist there took out one of my regular feelings and another one that were already filled and filled them with the wrong color they are my front teeth and you can notice them right away when I smile don't think they did a very good job matter of fact they were looking for the color to match my teeth and we're all out of it and went ahead and did it anyways not prepared for the job now my front teeth are two different colors

Attempted to make 2 new patient appointment , and was told that because i have state insurance (Meridian) i was not able to have an appointment for a Friday AT ALL. Which I thought was rude of them and was a discrimination against state Insurance holders !

The best dental experience ever. Dr Ogufere is very knowledgeable and breaks down complex information . She is very thorough and gentle.I feel so lucky to have found this practice after a few bad experiences. The office staff are also very helpful.

Dr. Osen Ogufere is either completely incompetent or she is a liar and a fraud. Either way she should not have a dental licesnse. I visited this dentist after my dentist of 27 years retired. I have not had a cavity in 20 years. Dr. Ogufere took x-rays and told me I had 5 cavities between my teeth in the back that needed to be drilled and filled. I decided to seek a second opininon. I went to Delany Dental and had the same set of xrays taken by a dentist with 40 years experience. I had no cavities. I believe this dentist was attempting to commit an insurance fraud and was willing to drill out 5 perfectly healthy teeth in order to generate work for her practice.
