Dr. Dustin Goetz received his Bachelor of Science in biological engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and earned his DDS in 2014. He was approached by various departments to continue at UIC College of Dentistry in advanced specialty fields, but Dr. G decided to put his skills to work in restorative dentistry.
Duing school, Dr. Goetz worked in many different fields and participated in extracurricular activities. He served as Vice President, President Elect and President of UICs American Student Dental Association chapter. He looks forward to applying his knowledge and experience as a member of our community.
He is excited for the opportunity to develop relationships with his patients and the people here. Through his gifted hands and commitment to learning, Dr. Goetz is on his way to becoming one of the best in his profession.
This Aurora dentist is very active with family and friends and around our area. He is involved with his familys horse ranch where he has raised horses from foaling and assisted with training, and he has shown in events as an amateur rider, going all the way to the American Eventing Championships his first year on his green stallion, Dr. McDreamy.
Dr. William Bill Vergados attended the University of Illinois at Chicago for his undergraduate studies. Understanding thatindividualized care and patient management would be a critical component to his success as a dentist, he pursued a degree in Psychology. To connect further to his Greek heritage, he also earned a degree in Classical Studies. With hard work and dedication, he graduated Summa Cum Laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honors society.
Dr. Vergados went on to study at Southern Illinois University, where he received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine. He graduated Magna Cum Laude and was presented with the Academy of Oral Medicine award. Further, by distinguishing himself with excellence in scholarship and demonstrating exemplary traits of character, Dr. Vergados was nominated by his faculty and inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society. While at SIU, he had the privilege of participating in community outreach programs such as Give Kids a Smile, Mission of Mercy, Veterans Care Day, and the Jamaica Dental Mission Trip.
Dr. Vergados enjoys both prosthodontics and restorative dentistry because it gives him the opportunity to not only restore his patients smiles, but their confidence as well. Accepting the lifelong student philosophy, his goal is to acquire the skillset for more advanced rehabilitation cases alongside Dr. Goetz.
Our team at Smiles of Aurora is made up of dedicated and caring individuals. We work together well to give our patients the most stress-free, enjoyable and comfortable experience. And with Spanish-speaking team members working alongside Dr. Goetz and Dr. Vergados, you can get the best dental care in a language you feel most comfortable speaking.
Dana joined our office in 2018. She graduated from Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois, in 2017. She likes meeting new people and helping them better their oral health. On a daily basis, Dana takes great care of all our patients and enjoys getting to know them and their families. In her free time, she likes to go to parks.

I always get greeted with respect, a smile and friendly check in. The team there are absolutely great! Dr. Goetz is the best! He will take his time with you no matter what! He is up to date on the latest procedures and extremely knowledgeable. He knows what he's doing and he takes pride in it. I've never felt more comfortable at a dentist office than I do with him and his awesome team. Dana is extremely thorough and gentle when it comes to cleaning and x-rays. Her kindness and extra step to make sure I'm comfortable does not go unnoticed. Suzy is very meticulous when it comes to her profession. She kept me in the loop of what was happening & kept me comfortable. I can tell she really enjoys her career choice. I couldn't ask for a better dentist and his team! I highly recommend Dr. Goetz and his team.
