Working at a pediatric dental office as a dental assistant piqued Dr. Goettls interest in pediatric dentistry. She realized how much she enjoyed working with children and making them feel comfortable.
Dr. Luke found his way to pediatric dentistry after working as a middle school football coach. He is passionate about giving back to the Chippewa Valley community and enjoys helping each patient feel comfortable.
Dr. Welborn loves working with children, and their honesty, silliness, and energy make her smile! Her goal is to provide patients with happy and fun experiences that build lifelong positive perspectives towards dentistry.

I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and completed my undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Iowa. I met my husband, an emergency medicine physician, while in dental school. We moved to Saint Paul for my husbands medical residency, where I started my career practicing general dentistry. My time spent working at a Twin Cities public health clinic helped me realize my passion for working with kids, leading me to pursue my specialty certificate from the University of Minnesota.

This is the best dentist..dr. Luke and everyone on his staff is amazing. Not only are they awesome with my daughter, but they update me throughout the process. They also make sure to thoroughly explain any after care needed.

The staff is truly incredible. Our 4 year old was terrified and not the most cooperate, but they worked patiently with him, were friendly and allowed him to assist with his cleaning.

Dr. Luke and his entire team is absolutely amazing. My 4 year old had to have 2 appointments that included numbing and he did so well because of the constant reassurance and praise by the team. I'm so glad that Smiles in Motion is in Menomonie.

Was never told that you need to give 24 hour notice if you will miss an appointment and now can't go there ever again, when I let the person on the phone know that i was never told that and I got an attitude and told "well they always tell you when you set up your appointment".

Took are Daughter there she needed 3 of her baby teeth pulled they were great. With her her previous dentist she would not even let them get close to her mouth would highly recommend Smiles in Motion to all parents

Staff are all incredibly good and patient with kids. My kids actually get excited to go see the dentist, they can watch a movie while getting their teeth cleaned and get a prize when they are done. These guys know the way to a kids heart!!

The staff is so great with kids! It was my daughter's first time at the dentist and I was nervous about how she would react. They explained everything to Charlotte in terms that were fun and wouldn't scare her. She had a filling done and also no issues or tears. Would recommend it to everyone!

My family moved to the Menomonie/Eau Claire area late 2018. I asked around for recommendations for the best pediatric dentist as we came from the the top rated in Madison. I heard Smiles in Motion over and over again. I have not been disappointed, the kids have received amazing care at each appointment. Dr. Luke has been great, I really appreciate that he comes and personally talks to me at the end of each visit. Highly recommend him for your child's next dentistry need.
