Dr. Luke found his way to pediatric dentistry after working as a middle school football coach. He is passionate about giving back to the Chippewa Valley community and enjoys helping each patient feel comfortable.

I grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and completed my undergraduate and dental degrees at the University of Iowa. I met my husband, an emergency medicine physician, while in dental school. We moved to Saint Paul for my husbands medical residency, where I started my career practicing general dentistry. My time spent working at a Twin Cities public health clinic helped me realize my passion for working with kids, leading me to pursue my specialty certificate from the University of Minnesota.

I missed an appointment 11 years ago. I called and tried to reason, I had no vehicle, I was told to not return. I called 6 years later, then a parent of two. I was rudely told I was unreliable and was not ever wecolme back. I tried to get my pediatrician to write a referral and that too was denied. I now have 6 children and they also aren't welcomed. Its very unfortunate and to be quite honest its ugly.

Smiles on Motion is AMAZING!! The entire staff is incredible. Our family is new to Wisconsin and it isn't always easy to find a place that can make you feel as comfortable and safe to bring your children as Smiles in Motion has for us.

UPDATE: Another impressive experience with Dr. Winn and dental techs at Smiles in Motion in Chippewa Falls. We always have great care at Smiles in Motion. Most recently, it was recommended by the orthodontist that our 8-year-old have two teeth removed to make room for permanent teeth. Our kiddo has some dental anxiety, but all of the Smiles in Motion colleagues were fantastic. They really took their time with her and made sure she was comfortable and that she could clearly advocate for herself and her care. We've been going to SIM since our child was a year old and we can't imagine going elsewhere.

Dr Win and her staff were wonderful with both my son and I. Having a cavity filled is never an enjoyable experience but they all went above and beyond being patient and explaining to us what was happening. We traveled several hours to have my son be seen by Dr Win because of her excellent reviews and their parent policies (allowing me to be present). Thanks Dr Win for making a hard situation better!
