Ashley joined our team in April of 2018 as our new Hygienist. Before graduating from Quinsigamond Community College with high honors as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Ashley was busy as a dental assistant working for general dentists, endodontists and periodontists for almost 7 years. As a child, Ashley thoroughly enjoyed going to see her dentist and always had positive experiences. She can now help others have that same positive experience that they will too remember as adults. She loves working with children and hopes they gain education about their dental health at each visit. She enjoys singing, cooking, hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and two dogs. Being the oldest of seven children, she has the responsibility of setting a good example for her younger siblings and loves spending quality time with her family, her boyfriend Brendan, and her pets, Nala and Cali. We were very impressed by the setup at Dr. H's office. I have a toddler and young child and both were totally at ease with the staff there.

The staff and dental hygienists were completely exceptional, and it is unfortunate that Dr. Himelhoch was utterly terrible. She had terrible interaction skills with my 4 year old who is new to a dental office (2nd/3rd time). My child had a cavity identified during the initial visit that needed to be addressed. We came back over for the follow up where initially with the [perfectly lovely and child-centered] hygienist, we were told that my child could sit on my lap to make the experience more comfortable for her. The dentist proceeded to come in, and told us it wasn't going to work like that and that she would have to sit on her own to get the procedure done. I don't know if anyone else has ever dealt with 4 year olds, but when one set of expectations is set and then pulled off the table, it typically doesn't go well. As I was comforting her, I can hear Dr. Himelhoch in the background tell my child "Well, you don't really have an option" AS MY CHILD IS CRYING. Then, she proceeded to ask if I needed assistance in restraining my child to get her in the seat. Finally, when my child is inconsolable, she suggested getting the infant lap seat. If that was an option, why wasn't that the initial suggestion instead of waiting for the inconsolable child to get to that level. When I finally told them I did not want to go forward to it today as it was out of control at that point, she then proceeded to address my child with a "I'm very disappointed in you for making this so difficult for you mom." WHAT?!?

I greatly appreciate Dr. Himelhoch's patience and kindness. She makes what can be a stressful experience a good one. She doesn't just rush through the visit and move on to the next but takes an active interest in her patients. Thanks, Dr. Himelhoch!

I just took my daughter for her second cleaning and x-rays. They did an amazing job making her feel comfortable and keeping it fun for her. It is such a relief that she now thinks of the dentist as a fun place. The prices aren't crazy expensive either.

Dr. H and her ENTIRE staff have an endless supply of patience and kindness, especially with nervous little ones. My youngest is hyper-afraid of dental procedures. Dr. H and her staff moved things along quickly and efficiently to minimize stress. By the time we were done, my 7 yr old admitted it wasn't as bad as he thought. Thank you SMILES!!!

I worked with Dr. Himelhoch to receive 3M Clarity Aligners. She is extremely professional and did a great job straightening my bottom teeth. My teeth look amazing after only 6 months with the aligners. Highly recommended!

I brought my 2 1/2 year old for his first dental appointment... nervous since he tends to be emotional in certain new experiences. Dr. Himelhoch was amazing.. she joked with him, took her time, and made him incredibly comfortable. Not one tear or frown. My husband and I were in total shock by how smoothly our visit went. THANK YOU, to Dr. Himelhoch and her staff for making my son's first dental visit such an amazing experience!!

The orthodontic and dental care given is above and beyond any I have experienced. Sanitation and safety protocols have always been outstanding. I am pleased that the additional steps taken now put patients at ease.

Professional, clean, and comfortable. The staff are friendly and know what they're doing. Recommended for your dental needs. We have a 7 and 3 yr old. They were happy when leaving the practice, that tells you something. They measure temperature, provide hand sanitizer and gloves before entering.

Our daughter had a horrible experience with a dentist when she was 4 and refused to have a cleaning for 18 months. She would SCREAM and KICK so much they couldn't do the cleaning. Then we brought her to Dr. H. Now she asks to go to the dentist- and has had 18 months of dental visits without a fight. We are so grateful for the kind and calming way Dr. H and her staff helped us.
