Smiles in Bloom is a brand new and state of the art pediatric dental practice that was founded on a simple, and age old principle, 'Treat others the way you wish to be treated'. We strive to make the dental experience enjoyable for both parents and their children by offering comprehensive care in a gentle, fun, and engaging atmosphere. We do this by offering kid-friendly treatment rooms with ceiling mounted televisions to watch movies or play games on during dental care, anxiety reducing treatment with nitrous oxide inhalation (laughing gas), available general anesthesia at the Connecticut Children 's Medical Center, and a dedicated team with specialized training in pediatric dental care.
We are conveniently located with easy access off I-91 exit 45 at the intersection of route 5 and Hwy. 140 (across from sophias plaza). We are the only Pediatric Dental Specialists in East Windsor but we serve many surrounding communities due to our easy access from the areas major transportation routes.

Doctors and staff are always super pleasant, and 100% effort made to make kids comfortable with whatever they are going to have done. As a grandparent I feel extremely confident bringing my grandson in. Love them.

Brought my 2 boys to their office after having a traumatic experience with a different dental practice all together. Everyone was kind and nurturing. Explained everything as we went. Very thorough. Dental hygienists and Dentist were amazing! Highly recommended!

My son is full of Energy also has speech delay sensory issues and every time he goes to this place everyone has the biggest patience and joy with him he loves it and so do I!!!!

First dentist that my five year old felt comfortable enough to even open his mouth and sit through an exam. First dentist out of a few that my 9 year old also felt comfortable enough to complete an exam. Both kids would be too scared to even open their mouths with other impatient dentists, however Dr. Bloom somehow was able to make them feel safe and brave enough. Very understanding and kind staff. Definitely recommend for kids of all ages. Definitely worth the ride!

My kids love it here!! They are very patient and explain the procedures in detail to make the kids feel more relaxed and comfortable... I grew up being terrified of the dentist the lasted into adulthood I'm sure if I had a experience like my kids do at the dentist I would never fear going again !! My son had a filling done it took less than 10 minutes and he was out of the chair

I am so glad I found this place for my kids! We always have a good experience! The staff is always so welcoming and nice throughout our visit! The hygienists working with my children today were great as always! Specially shout out to Alex! From personal experience, he gives some of the best cleanings! We worked together for years and so glad to see that he will continue to take care of my childrens dental needs!

Dentist and hygienists are amazing they show they truly love their job, we have been coming here for 9 years and do not plan to leave, but sometimes I feel I want to due to the receptionists. Everyone at the front desk comes off rude, snotty, and miserable and this isn't just a one time thing this has been going on for many years. I still recommend this place to family and friends but I warn them of the unwelcoming experience of the front desk.

My daughter (4yo) hates going to any doctor in general but she loves it when it's the dentist! Love how friendly the staff is and they make her feel super comfortable. Her favorite part is getting a token to get a prize at the end. Will continue to use this location for as long as I can.

I grew up going to a pediatric dentist that I loved so much I ended up working in dentistry for 7 years so I know a little more than the average person and this office ticks all my boxes!! My only critique from our last visit is they current COVID policy for entering. I am not sure if they sent it somewhere and I missed it or what, but I wished they had made the new procedure a bit more clear in their confirmation messages leading up to our appointments. Standing outside the door next to a busy parking lot with three very busy small children for an indeterminate amount of time was harrowing to say the least. A voicemail or phone call or text that sends the "check in" phone number and being called when it's time to go in instead of twiddling our thumbs and waiting could have saved a lot of stress! Otherwise, they were wonderful, quick, and thorough -- especially with my 2 year old who was visiting for the first time. Bravo, Folks.

Absolutely FANTASTIC!! My 5 year old left his first visit saying, " I liked visiting the dentist!" And continued his praise the next day, waking up with his first thoughts being, "Mama, I really like the dentist! I had fun." If that doesn't say it all right there, I don't know what else, as a parent, you could need. Every one of the staff was interactive and clearly loved their jobs! Showing care, understanding and outstanding patience. I could not have had a better experience.

I rarely write reviews (and have no social media) however, this office was so wonderful I have to write this. I wish there were 10 stars available. Smiles in Bloom went above and beyond for my 6 year old special needs child who had such a horrible experience with a different pediatric dentist's office in South Windsor he was absolutely terrified. Smiles in Bloom (Brie :) got us in immediately for a painful cavity. We walked in and my child was their first priority (before even worrying about paperwork). They made him so comfortable and relaxed. Candy was showing him around, talking with him, showing him the tools and making sure he was ok before starting any work. Dr. David talked to my son throughout the whole procedure, but also distracting him by talking about specific episodes of PJ Masks, which was playing on the TV on the ceiling (clearly he has watched this show before - which confirms his dedication to the children). I honestly felt like my son was all they cared about. It was so refreshing to see people doing a job they loved and helping children instead of just "working". My son told them he wants to go there every week :o). He had the entire cavity filling procedure done TEAR FREE. Not one problem or complaint (and believe me he left the other dentist crying and screaming and didn't even have a filling procedure). I will now be taking both of my kids to Smiles in Bloom and telling anyone and everyone who will listen that this office is where to go. My son has ADHD and is very sensitive and worries alot and I cannot believe how they had him literally laying still, with his legs crossed, quietly having a cavity filled. It was nothing short of amazing.

Their scheduling is so tight that when all 4 of my children were 9 minutes late to their cleaning, we were turned away because they "wouldn't have enough time". I have never come to the office and had them see us right away. We have always waited 15+ minutes. As someone who is not typically late, I find the lack of flexibility unreasonable. I used to like this practice, but they have not managed to adapt post-covid as other offices have. The office staff has always been on the rude side, but the doctors "chair-side" manner made up for that. At this point, the pendulum has swung too far in the wrong direction for it to balance out and I'll be moving the kids to another practice.

Very pleased with my daughters first check up (2 y.o), she did very well and felt at ease. This is most likely because the office was colorfully decorated, and the front desk staff, Hygienist Adam and Dentist Dr. Justin Bloom were very friendly to us! Great experience
