Dr. Mal Azar was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and attended Yeshivah Of Flatbush from Pre-K to High School. Dr. Azar received his Bachelor of Science degree, Magna Cum Laude, from Brooklyn College with a major in Business Management Finance and a minor in Chemistry. Dr. Mal then went on to receive his dental degree from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in Newark, New Jersey. Immediately following dental school, he specialized in Pediatric Dentistry at NYU-Lutheran, where he served as Chief Resident. After completing his residency, Dr. Azar worked as an associate in private practice for multiple years in the New York and New Jersey area.
Dr. Azar enjoys hiking, running, traveling, swimming and going to the beach. Dr. Azar takes pride in his funky hairstyle and has been going to the same barber since he was 6 years old! (Take a guess who it is!)
