Dr. Tim Brooks is a Family and Cosmetic Dentist who has a passion for creating healthy and beautiful smiles; he is here to help patients achieve their dental goals. Dr. Brooks 20+ years of experience and extensive training in Cosmetic and Restorative Dentistry will keep you looking and feeling your best. He believes strongly in the value of preventive care when it comes to maintaining lifelong dental health!
Thanks to his advanced training and extensive experience with Invisalign invisible braces, porcelain veneers, and creating bridges and crowns using CEREC 3D Technology, Dr. Brooks will take care of all your familys dental needs.
Dr. Brooks has a friendly personality and our patients are quickly put at ease when they meet him. He provides all options when recommending treatment but will let patients know what he considers the best choice. Though, he understands it is ultimately the patients decision and will not judge you if you choose differently. He and his wife, Kathy, one of our dental hygienists, have 3 grown daughters. In his free time Dr. Brooks loves to travel, fish, watch NFL/Timberwolves games and spend time with his family.
Kathy is a dental hygienist and graduated from UMD. She has over 25 years of experience in the dental field and has been with the practice since 1999. Kathy has quite a following with our high anxiety patients and has a gentle touch. She uses her sense of humor to help relax the patients and enjoys getting to know them. She is married to Dr. Brooks and has 3 daughters, 2 cats, and a dog. The pets were all strays. Kathy enjoys reading and traveling in her free time.
Deanna attended Century College and graduated with a degree in dental assisting. She has over 25 years of experience in the dental field. She works both chair side with our patients, as well as at the front desk where she is very knowledgeable about insurance and explaining treatment plans. Deanna and her husband have two sons. Deannas quick wit and comebacks keep everyone on their toes. Our patients look forward to seeing her, not only for her extensive dental skills and knowledge, but to enjoy her sense of humor. In her spare time, Deanna enjoys working out, golfing and spending time with the family.
Amber graduated from Argosy University with a degree in Dental Hygiene in 2012. She joined our team in 2013 and loves her job now just as much as she did on day one. She loves all aspects of dentistry. Her favorite part of her job is working one-on-one with patients helping them strategize the best way to keep their teeth healthy. Amber likes helping patients feel comfortable and is non-judgmental in a setting that isnt always a fun place to be. Amber is married and has two daughters and a dog named Haylee. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, playing on her co-ed softball team and going for daily walks with her family.
Stephanie is our Administrative Coordinator and has 13 years of experience in the dental industry. Steff wears many hats in this role but she most enjoys interacting with patients. Steff will likely be the smiling face you see when you check in to the office. She is our go-to for sorting out insurance, scheduling visits, and treatment coordination. Steff works hard to assure things run seamlessly and that our patients and staff members are happy.
Steff grew up in a large family here in Bloomington. She and her husband Sully are empty nesters and have 4 grown children. In her free time, Stephanie enjoys teaching fitness classes at the YMCA, traveling and hanging out with her family. She is also a licensed Nail Technician.
Lauren grew up in Red Wing, Minnesota and is the baby of the family with two older sisters. In her free time, Lauren likes to exercise, read bake, and travel. She is a huge animal lover and has 2 cats, a tortoise and a dog.

I don't normally do reviews but this one is well deserved! I've been seeing dr. Brooks for years now he has been the best dentist I've had in fact everyone that works there always has a smile on their face while being extremely professional. I love the atmosphere in their office. Everyone working there is always happy to help! I have crippling anxiety they always work through it listen to my concerns and are willing to help you with any problems regarding your service. All while rebuilding my smile! They really do go the extra mile for their patients which is sadly a rarity today.

My partial broke and I called Dr. Brooks office "Smiles for Life Dentistry", and told them I needed to go out of town. Could they please get this fixed in a hurry, they set me up with appointment the very next day, and I had my partial back within a day or two they are always so professional, and helpful! They have the best customer service ever Dr. Brooks and his staff are so friendly and always willing to help I recommend Smiles For Life Dentistry highly!!

Our entire family has been patients of Dr Brooks for over 25 years, since the beginning of his practice. Our grown children who still live in the Twin Cities drive to Bloomington to see Dr. Brooks and his staff. One of our boys, now in his 30's had a serious dental accident when he was 12, which knocked out 7 of his front teeth. Dr. Brooks and staff were exceedingly caring and compassionate, and helped us navigate all of the Dental work that had to be done then, and continues to this day, referring us to various specialists, as required. We trust he and his staff to provide gentle, thorough advice for patients of ALL ages!

Because of life long depression issues, I didn't take care of my teeth. Dr Brooks and his staff are very encouraging and have helped me immensely. I am now in the process of dental work that I am not afraid of and am happy about.

I've been a patient for 15 years and trust Dr Brooks with caring for my family as well. I have sensitive gums and they do a great job cleaning my teeth and being sensitive to my needs. I would recommend them highly for their honest and straightforward approach to managing my families dental health!!
