For most people, achieving a healthy, beautiful smile is the reason for receiving orthodontic care. If you're self-conscious about your smile, correcting your concerns with braces will greatly improve the way you look and feel.

When your treatment is complete, you will have the smile you've always dreamed of and the confidence to show it off! We also want you to feel comfortable and confident throughout your entire orthodontic experience, and our practice is dedicated to making sure that you receive the quality care you deserve.

Orthodontic appliances are made of metal, ceramic, or plastic. They may be removable or they may be brackets bonded to the teeth. By placing a constant, gentle force in a carefully controlled direction, braces slowly move teeth to the proper position.

Gone are the days when a metal band with a bracket was placed around each tooth. You can now choose clear or metal brackets, and in some cases, you can even choose the color of your appliance. Wires are far less noticeable, and the latest materials are designed to move teeth faster with more comfort. Today, any age is a great age to wear braces!

Treatment time varies and can last between one and three years depending on several factors, including age, treatment method, and the severity of your case. A big factor in a successful treatment is you! The more involved and diligent you are, the more efficient your treatment will be. For children, receiving interceptive or early treatment can also help provide a quicker treatment time.

I call and always get vm, trying to make an apt. For my grandson whom now has an abscess and pain they don't call back. This office used to be the best place to take your kids and it is slowly headed in the same direction as any other office!! Disappointing!!

Disappointed in the customer service from the Dental Assistant. She was in a rush to set up, which caused her to expose a needle on the lidocaine that she handed to the Dr. I mentioned to her that my child had other work to be done during this appointment, and she didn't care that I had questions regarding my child's dental work; she just cut me off and stated were only doing crowns because that is what was discussed. She sat in her chair while my child was receiving gas for his treatment and not once did she turn around to speak to me. I get it they are busy today But seriously if you can not provided quality customer care to patients and the families just quit and work from home. Or step up your customer service game and seriously be professional.

Don't bother coming on time, late patients will be ushered in before you regardless of when you arrive. Adults required to wear masks but not children... science!

I came in 2-3 times for my child's appointment every time their system wasn't working. The front desk doesn't make a list to call back patients to reschedule for the inconvenience. The first visit the Dentist and I agreed my child would be awake during a future procedure. I was unaware that they made changes until the day of the appointment, they stated were going to use anesthesia. Normally facilities call patients and remind them of their appointment and state that they are not able to eat or drink or a certain number of hours this place does not state those hours or call, they just send text reminders.

If you're looking for a professional, caring, and courteous orthodontist, this is not the place for you. I got braces put on here three years ago to correct my crooked teeth and severe overbite. The orthodontist at the time (not sure who it was) assured me over and over again that this would fix everything for me and I would leave with a perfect smile. I had my braces for three years. I will admit, I wasn't perfect- there were days I didn't wear my bands, days I didn't clean my teeth as well as I could have. But I tried my best. Every single appointment I came to, I was scolded for poor oral hygiene. The first time, I let the orthodontist outline his hygiene routine, which turned out to be exactly what I had been doing for two months. The rest of the time? I just let him talk and kept following the routine I knew. I can remember one hygienist I liked. The rest weren't really remarkable. One was blackballed from seeing me because she tightened my braces so roughly that I was in tears in the car on the way home. The hygienists were never really the problem, though. It was the orthodontists. I had one early on who informed me that he would be grading my hygiene and that there would be punishments for bad grades. I refused to see that one again. I had another who apparently thought that I was getting my braces off months early- came into the room with a huge smile and asked "Ready to get those braces off?" When I said no, the smile dropped and he snapped, "Your teeth are rotting and they're going to fall out." I'm tough. But that made me cry. (That was also months ago, and my teeth have done neither one.) The treatment was also full of mistakes. The lead orthodontist quit halfway through my treatment and was replaced. The new orthodontist repositioned my brackets just as I was about to get into bands to fix my overbite- I didn't get my bands for another few months. I was given a single cleaning appointment in three years- they told us they would take care of everything, then blamed me for poor oral hygiene. The final straw though? Happened two days ago. I was not happy with where my teeth were- they were straight, but my overbite was barely improved. I thought I could finally feel it starting to shift, so I asked if we could leave my braces on another month. Dr. Khaira said no, citing tooth damage and root shortening, so I accepted. I was then forced to sign a form that said nothing about tooth damage and placed the sole blame on me. I believe the title was "Discontinuation of Treatment Due to Noncompliance." It sounded like a punishment, and I hated having to sign it. I cried through the entire appointment. There are pictures in my file- which I did not want to take- of me in tears. I picked up my retainer yesterday- the hygienist had her fingers in my mouth in the waiting room, in full view of everyone in there, and I was not told how long I should wear the thing 24/7 before phasing it out to nightly wear only. I wanted an orthodontist who would help me, who would fix my teeth. I didn't get that. I got an uncaring, unprofessional, frankly rude orthodontist who left my teeth straight, but the promised corrected overbite barely improved, and left some lasting mental scars on me. I was completely shocked by how thoroughly uncaring most of the staff here was- they want to be done with you, and they will finish your treatment as quickly as possible and take your money, no matter what it does to you. They do not care. I highly recommend never stepping through this company's doors. And please, if you have children, take them somewhere else. A smile is the last thing they will put on your kid's face.

I've been taking my kids here for 2 years, and they have had AMAZING experiences every single time. My 4 year old son had an appointment tonight at 6pm, and Allayna took perfect care of him. She took time to explain to him what every single tool was for, and what she was going to do before she did it. Anyone could tell that woman has a beautiful heart, and she is PERFECT for her job, just amazing with kids. Dr. Tanaka is always great with my kids, my 4 year old and my 2 year old are always excited to see her! Thank you all for another great experience!
