Dr.Sharma is a dual specialist. She is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist and Board Certified Orthodontist. A Board Certified Pediatric Dentist is a pediatric dentist who has an advanced optional certification denoting adherence to practice standards set forth by theAAPD. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Northern District Dental Society and the American Association of Orthodontists.
Dr. Sharma attended Boston University and received her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2003. As a dental student, she was active with the American Student Dental Association and participated in many community outreach programs. After dental school, she continued her dental training at a General Practice Residency in New York. She continued her love for children by working at a children-focused dental practice in Atlanta for 2 years. Later, she pursued to the pediatric dentistry residency program at Boston University. This training encompassed growth & development, child philosophy & behavior management, sedation, hospital dentistry, treatment of traumatic injuries, treating children with special needs, and other specialized areas unique to younger children and adolescents. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sharma loves traveling to new and exciting places. She enjoys spending time with her family.

My oldest son has autism and has had bad experiences the past couple times at the dentist when we moved to the area, because all that dentist focused on was shoving 20 patients into the back and getting patients in and out. So when Smiles for Kids and the doctor came highly recommended, we decided to give it a chance. Everyone was wonderful from scheduling, check in, and all other staff! They took their time explaining things to my sons and making them feel comfortable. Both of the boys were so excited when leaving and said they wanted to come back. Dr. Sharma was very sweet and did a great job explaining things. Overall wonderful experience and we are so happy!!

Non discriminating of purebloods and the unmasked. Showed up on time with my 2yr old's cavities. Short wait. Full and straightforward looked you in the eye type of disclosure of anesthesia risks. Went like clockwork as they've done this a million times and that was comforting. As a small business owner, it's not hard to spot real professionals.

If I could leave a zero start I would. They rescheduled my daughter's appt 3 times a month or each time. We showed up this morning and the office is empty and no one is here! I'm furious. Better ways to spend a morning than carrying a 2 yr old around for no reason. Do yourself a favor and find a dentist who is considerate and actually open.

Amy answered the phone, by stating she wishes it was already the weekend! I called for a school note and for ortho treatment plans and prior treatment plans that were never sent. She said IF I don't receive my sons school note by 2:00 PM I need to call her back, and she went in to see my kid's treatment plans stating no cavities were showing, but I was told my daughter had one and she didn't even go over my other kids with me and said she'll review them because she doesn't show anything, then just hung up. HORRIBLE customer service. How confident can a parent be when you have people like this working there and no notes in their chart?!

Tuesday my girls had an AppointmentThey decided to cancel it because they were doing some kind Of work in the office I drove 30min for nothing. They reschedule it for today waited almost 2 hours and they never got my girls to the back people came in and out while we where still waiting so I decide it to cancell it and not to mention the fact that they couldn't even find my daughters name for her appointment. Also the guy was like your app was at 11 no sir I have the message saying 9 .30 and when I checked in I even showed them so why say now that it was at 11 and made me wait almost 2 hours. So ridiculous.

I had to take a star away because of the wait time. I think wait time is normal for doctors offices but here we're talking about much longer waits. Feels like they're always over booked or short staff. I understand if this happens sometimes here and there but it's every single time. It makes it harder since kids have less patient and I don't think any of them are excited about going to dentist to begin with.

I found Dr. Sharma is one of the best orthodontist. My personal experience was awesome. She treated my daughter so nicely. Top of this, before treatment I had some concern about my daughter and insurance but she called me up personally and solved those. Thank you so much doctor.

We had an emergency dental visit with smiles for kids as my 15 mo old the night before fell and chipped his front tooth. The staff and office manager Ashley were very attentive and got us right in. We had a quick visit and they made sure we had all our concerns and questions answered. I would definitely recommend you give them a call.

From the moment you walk in the door you know this is a place that cares about children. My daughter was very comfortable going back with staff. She said they were constantly asking her if she was ok, how she felt. She said it made her happy that she could talk to the doctor and be a grown up. She is ten. But to instill good doctor/patient relationships is important at an early age. Just because they are littles does not mean their voice should not be heard. This is what this staff done for her and us!! Thank you all!!
