Sedation dentistry offers individuals with general anxiety about going to the dentist or fears about a specific dental procedure the opportunity to have a stress free and more comfortable experience. Utilizing safe and controlled sedation techniques prior to the dental procedure the patient is eased into a state of complete relaxation. This eliminates any discomfort, pain, and preoperative anxiety that may be associated with a particular dental visit. With sedation dentistry patients typically feel more at ease post-operatively as they have little or no memory of the actual moment-to-moment dental procedure.
Commonly referred to as laughing gas, nitrous oxide is used as a mild sedative to reduce anxiety and allow a level of relaxation during a procedure. Nitrous oxide is inhaled through a small mask over the nose. It is administered for the duration of the procedure and is turned off as the procedure is coming to an end. The effects of this method of sedation wear off very quickly.
IV Sedation involves a sedative that is administered intravenously, or directly into a vein. It is indicated when deeper sedation is required. This type of sedation can be quickly modified to your state of consciousness and can be continued as long as necessary for the procedure.

While reading these comments I was like no way I just left that place and I was treated very well I didn't have to wait that long at all the staff was very generous and the doctor was cute and of course very funny he told me jokes while working on my teeth and yes I had a tooth pulled but I can honestly say it's a great nice clean place to refer any one looking forward to seeing yall guys again thanks in advanced but next time I would love to actually get something for pain that helps me because Tylenol doesnt

The most uncomfortable experience ever. My appt was at 10:30 and he did not start on me until a quarter til 1. He did not greet me in any way. He didn't even talk to me. He gave his assistant two cards to hand me for her to say "refer two friends" and I was sent on my way with nothing. He was very cold. I have never seen any doctor act this way. I would not refer anyone here.....EVER!!!! Edit: I guess they saw this review, because they sent me a letter asking me not to return. I wasn't going back anyway This is the most unprofessional place I've came across And I'm oh so glad they actually pay attention to their reviews since they can't seem to be decent with their patients. If I could give them 0 stars I most definitely would. The doctor is...ugh toodles to this unprofessional facility

Terrible place to go..but the only place that take Medicaid smh, the man doesn't care about his patient's wellbeing. He's ruff and throws smart remarks..The people there doesn't know what their doing.

I had a very unpleasant experience at this dentist. I went for a fill in and this was the only place I could find without a month wait. The doctor was cold and didn't talk much and when he did finally say something it was a very rude comment. He kept saying things like "I think" or "I'm not sure" in regards to what was going on with my teeth. I received a cleaning and for hours afterwards my mouth was still bleeding! Needless to say I'll be finding a new dentist! Avoid this place if you can. UPDATE: I'm guessing they check their reviews because today I received a letter stating I was no longer welcomed back! NEWSFLASH I was not coming back! You could have saved money on postage! Maybe take the feedback you get and and turn it into something positive like being a decent doctor! Like I said, avoid this place if possible!

Needless to say he isn't the only dentist in Lumberton. I called in made an appt. I even got a call with a reminder of the appointment a few days before the appointment. I took a day off for the appointment. Appointment day rolled around and they had no appointment for me on file. They made excuses about me missing appointments and I haven't missed an appointment since 2018. I was seen back in November and there was no issues. Now all of a sudden I've missed too many appointments and have been dismissed as a patient??? I won't be going back.
