I took my first part-time job as a dental sterilization tech over 15 years go and have been working in the dental field ever since. The knowledge and experience Ive gained over the years lead me here to Smiles Dental Center. Dr. Puri has created a positive office culture which in turn makes my job easier to ensure that were striving to achieve greatness every day. I take pride in making sure things run seamlessly and that our patients and team members are happy!

Ive been in the dental field for over 10 years. I started as an assistant but, now I work as an insurance coordinator, handling all of your insurance inquiries. I enjoy working at Smiles Dental Center and establishing unique friendships with our patients. Our team cares about each other and our patients. Its a fun, easy-going place to work!

Not only am I the newest member of the Smiles Dental team, Im new to the dental field as well. My job here is making sure we stay proactive with your dental health. Occasionally you may see me running around the office with a camera too. I manage all of our social media accounts and Im always on the look out for the perfect photo op! Ive been given a great opportunity by Dr. Puri and I cant wait to see what my future holds.

I graduated from West Chicago Community High School back in 2005. I decided to go into the medical field because I enjoy helping others. Around 2009 I took a CNA course and worked with elderly for about 9 years. I joined Smiles Dental team back in 2016. My work experience as Dr. Puris dental assistant has been a posititive one. I love helping patients obtain their perfect smile and heathly mouth. I could not imagine a better place to work.

I have recently become a member of the Smiles Dental team and couldnt be any happier. I have over 6 years of dental experience. The best part of my job, is meeting and interacting with all of our patients. Getting to watch their smiles transform throughout their dental treatment never gets old! When not beside Dr.Puri ready to assist, Im spending time with my loved ones and my daughter.

Dr. Amir Danesh got his DDS on 2008 and received his postdoctoral specialty training in Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University. Dr. Danesh career goal is putting the patients interest first and minimize any inconvenience and stress to patients by making the process noninvasive and more efficient. He is a big believer of evidence-based dentistry and uses current techniques and industry breakthroughs to provide the highest quality of care to his patients.

During his residency program, Dr. Danesh was selected as a winner of first prize in a Clinical Showcase Scholarship from New York University. He was also selected as the recipient of Award for Academic excellence for his scholarly activities. He believes that research plays a vital role in the enhancement of patient care. He has contributed to publication of 2 books and published more than 20 papers in prestigious journals including Journal of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, Implant Dentistry, Clinical Implant Dentistry and related research, Journal craniofacial surgery, Journal of American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Journal of Periodontal Research.

He is a reviewer as well as editorial member of many professional scientific journals and has several oral and poster presentations at national and international meetings such as American Academy of Periodontology. His specialty clinical training and academic research focus on various advanced and complicated implant and oral surgeries including bone regeneration and grafting, sinus lift procedure, ridge augmentation, atraumatic surgical extractions and site preservation, soft tissue augmentation and treatment of gum and peri-implant diseases. In addition, he has been trained in Nitrous Oxide and Intravenous Sedation that help patients to be comfortable and calm when undergoing dental procedures. IV sedation, or twilight sleep, will patients to tolerate as well as not remember procedures that may be very uncomfortable otherwise.

Dr. Danesh is passionate about the specialty of periodontology and implant dentistry and makes a serious commitment to continuing education by attending professional meetings to stay updated in the field. He is bilingual in both English and Farsi.
