Dr. White has been shaping smiles for decades, and his expertise has earned him recognition as one of the Top 1% Invisalign Providers in the world. He understands the needs of his patients, and treats them with the same respect, compassion, and honesty that he would expect for his own family.
Dr. Shadiya Hasan is originally from the sunshine state of Florida, where she grew up. After graduating as valedictorian of her high school class, she attended the University of Florida. There, Dr. Hasan earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. John White is the first and only Diamond Plus Invisalign Provider in Northern Ohio and is in the top 1% of orthodontists worldwide. While most general practice dentists may dabble in Invisalign treatment as part of their services, Dr. White specializes in creating effective Invisalign treatment plans.
After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1977, Dr. White went directly into the USAF dental corps as a general dentist. He received his MSD in orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University in 1982 and remained in the USAF until 1988. During this time, Dr. White was a consultant to the Air Force surgeon general as well as an instructor at Malcolm Grow and David Grant USAF Medical Centers, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Bethesda Naval Medical Center.
Dr. White has been in private practice in suburban Cleveland since 1988, and a faculty member (currently associate professor) at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine since 1990. He has been named Instructor of the Year three times.
He has also lectured nationally and internationally on many topics including CBCT imaging and intraoral 3D scanning for orthodontics, Invisalign treatment, and the integration of gnathologic and neuromuscular dental principles in orthodontics. He is a consultant to Sirona and 3M Unitek and a contributing editor for the journal Orthodontic Practice US.
Treatment time will vary based on the severity of your misalignments, but it could be anywhere from 4 to 30 months. Typically, Invisalign treatment takes the same amount of time as traditional braces, with an average treatment length of 18 months for a routine orthodontic case.

Dr. White and his entire staff are TOP TIER! I came from a previous orthodontist who left me traumatized and feeling as if I did not have any chance at a winning smile. My smile has always been a huge self esteem issue. From Day 1, Beth, in the reception area new what to say and we had a great conversation and many since then. Lorraine, The Treatment Coordinator is great and was very helpful in taking my initial scans. Laura is so kind and always helpful and has an AMAZING attitude! Dr. White is a Orthodontic GENIUS and I believe that's why he was put on this earth! I say this after over 30 consultations when trying to select my orthodontist initially and ultimately Dr. White was the best choice! He is INVISALIGN DIAMOND STATUS AND IN THE TOP 1% of INVISALIGN PROVIDERS! You won't find that very easily. Dr. White minimizes the amount of chair time through Dental Monitoring App and makes sure it's the right time to change trays. Brittany who answers the questions on the Dental Monitoring App is responsive and VERY KIND and understanding! Dr. White has invested in technology in his practice to make caring for patients not only easier for them but MORE CONVENIENT! He saves the chair time for when it's really needed and with gas being the price it is, that is appreciated. Dr. White cares about the patient and how they feel about their appearance not only after the treatment, but during! Dr. White allows people to seek treatment WITHOUT braces where others have insisted that's the "ONLY OPTION." This is not a paid testimonial and I have the truly messed up smile on the records that is slowly becoming beautiful thanks to Dr. White and his amazing team! Dr White and his team are amazing! It's been super easy and convenient to work with them over the past year, and I absolutely love my new smile! The app monitoring means you only have to come onsite for appointments a handful of times. Anytime I did have to physically visit the office, everything went quickly and smoothly. Overall I couldn't have asked for a better experience and highly recommend Smiles by White!

I can't say enough about what a great experience it was to have Dr. White straighten my teeth with Invisalign braces. His staff was friendly and polite and he had the latest technology that amazed me! Dr. White was kind and patient and answered all my questions. Everything about my treatment was easy and efficient.
