Dr. White has been shaping smiles for decades, and his expertise has earned him recognition as one of the Top 1% Invisalign Providers in the world. He understands the needs of his patients, and treats them with the same respect, compassion, and honesty that he would expect for his own family.
Dr. Shadiya Hasan is originally from the sunshine state of Florida, where she grew up. After graduating as valedictorian of her high school class, she attended the University of Florida. There, Dr. Hasan earned a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
Dr. John White is the first and only Diamond Plus Invisalign Provider in Northern Ohio and is in the top 1% of orthodontists worldwide. While most general practice dentists may dabble in Invisalign treatment as part of their services, Dr. White specializes in creating effective Invisalign treatment plans.
After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in 1977, Dr. White went directly into the USAF dental corps as a general dentist. He received his MSD in orthodontics from Case Western Reserve University in 1982 and remained in the USAF until 1988. During this time, Dr. White was a consultant to the Air Force surgeon general as well as an instructor at Malcolm Grow and David Grant USAF Medical Centers, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Bethesda Naval Medical Center.
Dr. White has been in private practice in suburban Cleveland since 1988, and a faculty member (currently associate professor) at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine since 1990. He has been named Instructor of the Year three times.
He has also lectured nationally and internationally on many topics including CBCT imaging and intraoral 3D scanning for orthodontics, Invisalign treatment, and the integration of gnathologic and neuromuscular dental principles in orthodontics. He is a consultant to Sirona and 3M Unitek and a contributing editor for the journal Orthodontic Practice US.
Treatment time will vary based on the severity of your misalignments, but it could be anywhere from 4 to 30 months. Typically, Invisalign treatment takes the same amount of time as traditional braces, with an average treatment length of 18 months for a routine orthodontic case.

I've always wanted to try Invisalign because I have never been happy with my teeth and when I was younger I didn't have the opportunity to get braces. So finally I was able to start this journey in February! I am sooo very happy with all the progress; I have completed 10/16 months so far, just had an appointment and I'm already basically done!! Just minor tweaks now. Wearing the aligners for the full 22 hours is key. I really kept up with it along with all the check ins, so I do believe that helped speed the process up by a lot. Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming at the Rocky River location and Dr. White is awesome! Really, truly, thank you soo very much to everyone who has worked with me on this 'new' smile journey. I couldn't be happier with the results!

The staff is amazing! From Dr. White to all of his supporting staff! All so gentle, kind and engaging! Dr. White detailed my treatment plan at my first visit and would continuously check in with me to make sure I was happy. The Dental Monitoring app was so convenient and saved me so many visits. A real plus especially during COVID. EXTREMELY happy with my results and would recommend Smiles by White to anyone!!

I just finished my Invisalign treatment and couldn't be happier with the results and my experience. From the very first consultation to my final appointment, I felt well-informed and comfortable at my office visits. Dr. White and the staff were always pleasant and professional, and always took the time to answer my questions and explain the process clearly. I always just felt confident that I was in good hands. Besides the staff and the appointments, my individual Invisalign treatment plan was simple and straightforward, and seemed to go quickly. Previously I was embarrassed by my smile. When I found out I was pregnant I decided I needed to do something so I could feel comfortable smiling in photos with my child. I'm shocked at the drastic improvement in my teeth at the end of my treatment. My teeth are perfectly straight and I love my smile. I'd absolutely recommend Invisalign to anyone who is considering it, and highly recommend Smiles by White for treatment.

Dr. White, in our brief encounter, was arrogant and unkind about the alignment of my teeth when I had visited his office. This was the second of my appointments in his office, following the installment of permanent retainers which had both failed in under two weeks. Professionalism and courtesy is important to me as a consumer, and his business was simply lacking both of these components during both of my appointments.
