Dr. Scott W.W. Steedman, DDS, MPHDr. Scott Steedman received his masters degree in public health, in health promotion and education, prior to pursuing his dream of being a dentist. Dr. Steedman graduated from Loma Linda University with the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy Student of the Year award for research and clinical excellence.
Dr. Steedman is proud to be a member of the world-renowned Seattle Study Club, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the American Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Washington Dental Association, the Snohomish County Dental Society and the Lake Stevens Chamber of Commerce.Dr. Steedman is actively involved in the community, supporting local sports teams and other organizations.
HeidiWith over 30 years of experience in the dental field, Heidi is enthusiastic and excited for all that todays dentistry has to offer our patients! Heidi started out her career in dentistry in our local Sno-Isle Vocational school for dental assisting in the 1980s. She has seen many advances in dentistry since those days and has been fortunate to have spent hundreds of hours in continuing education all over the country. She has been billing dental insurance for over 15 years and works diligently to stay abreast of the changes in coding and new financing options available to make dentistry as affordable as possible for our patients. She looks forward to meeting you and working with you! Outside of the office, Heidi enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, and playing in our beautiful Pacific Northwest!
KellyeKellye has worked in dentistry going on 10 years already. She graduated from the Smokey Point Institute of Dental Assisting in 2007 and has loved all things dental since she was a little girl. With her excellence in customer service, she has worked both as a dental assistant and as a front office administrative professional in Dr. Steedmans office. Kellye prides herself in excellent patient care, communication and being compassionate. She enjoys hiking and spending time with her husband, young son and dog.
TasiaTasia earned her dental hygiene degree from Shoreline Community College and also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University. She has lived most of her life in the Pacific Northwest. When away from the office, Tasia enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys being outdoors, cooking and traveling. I love to get to know my patients and helping them achieve optimal oral health.
MinaMina is one of our dental hygienists, but there is more to her than meets the eye! She graduated from hygiene school in 2009, but she also earned her bachelors degree in midwifery and has six years of hospital experience delivering babies. She became a part of Smiles By Steedman in 2018. She loves the opportunity to learn new things working with Dr. Steedman, the warm and friendly office environment and our very nice patients.
YashiYashi joined our team as a dental assistant in March 2020. Yashi completed a Bachelors of Dental Surgery degree in India in 2016, and an Associates degree in Healthcare Administration in 2018. Yashi enjoys being able to speak with our patients, show her skills and complete hands-on work, and always goes the extra mile to be sincere and deliver her best.
JessicaJessica joined our team as a dental hygienist in 2015! She loves being part of a team that makes getting to know patients a priority. Jessica loves helping our patients feel supported during their visits with us, and goes the extra mile to help them leave our office happy and appreciative of their oral health as well as with a greater understanding of their oral health needs.
