When you find yourself missing one of more teeth, you may need a dental implant in Lebanon, Tennessee, to fully restore your smile in a natural-looking, long-lasting way. Call Smiles By Samantha at 615-444-7180 and our dentist, Dr. Samantha Hughey-Wence, will be happy to talk with you about whether dental implants are right for your smile.

At our practice, we offer high-quality dental implants to replace one or more of your missing teeth. A dental implant is specially crafted to act as an artificial tooth root, bonding with your natural bone to strengthen the base of your jaw and stabilize your new artificial tooth. According to your situation, our dentist can remove any damaged teeth from the affected area before prepping you for treatment. If necessary, you may also receive a bone grafting to strengthen your jawbone for the implant placement.

During the first portion of the procedure, the implant post is surgically inserted into your jawbone to replace the missing tooth root. Once this is completed, a period of healing is often necessary to permit the post to connect with your natural bone. The second portion of treatment will involve the placement of your abutment post, which connects your dental restoration, or the artificial tooth, over the top of your implant post. Whether your restoration involves a dental crown, a dental bridge, or a complete or partial denture, we will make certain that your restoration is customized to fit your smile securely and comfortably.

I'm new to the area and although I had a very pleasant hygienist my overall experience was very much lackluster - Here's why, from the moment I walked into a very dated and odd Animal print decor, I was just plainly asked " who are you? With no smile or welcoming attitude. It seems the front desk person didn't recognize my insurance even the practice was referred to me by my insurance. She finally was able to verify that indeed I did have coverage but just seemed to be almost bothered with me. The Hygienist was great and chatted with me and made me feel welcomed, my only comment is coming from a dental background myself I felt she was just a bit light on the scaling but overall her friendliness far outweighed that little thing. The doctor was pleasant enough but was quick - I've had cancer screening and checking tissues with air with more thoroughness and attention to overall dental checkup done with far more care. I didn't have any cavities or anything else other than a cleaning but it just felt rushed. Now lastly and this is a big one- when checking out with the front desk an employee was vacuuming with a vey old loud vacuum practically under my feet and so close to the desk the checkout person could hardly hear me ! I worked in this field and we always did our housekeeping after patients were out of the office and especially not when they were trying to make an appt for next time. We all want to go home on time at the end of the day but again just left my with an unpleasant feeling. The checkout person by the way was very nice and I felt better about the visit after chatting with her a bit whiling making my next 6 moth cleaning appt. At this point I really feel I will not be back and most probably will cancel my appt as well as saving my husband from the experience. I thought about the series of events for a few hours before leaving this review as I am a fair person, but there are so many other places to choose good dental care that I will try my luck elsewhere. Sad to leave a negative review but you asked me with a text how my experience was. I wish you all well truly~

Had a crown done today. Very professional and efficient. They make the crown here, so no second trips back to the dentist. No pain and the drilling wasn't too bad. I've been to several different dentist in the past and these guys are good. Also, a step above many in the field of technology.
