Dr. Robert Lorino feels extremely proud and lucky to be an orthodontist. To him, when prospective patients choose him to provide them with beautiful smiles, it is a true honor. Dr. Lorino is passionate about helping people improve their appearance, no matter how small or large their problem is. He finds it very satisfying to see each patient progress through treatment until they reach their final result. Dr. Lorino grew up in Franklin Lakes and returned to his hometown after orthodontic specialty training to openhis own practice. When hes not in the office, Dr. Lorino enjoys working out, playing sports, working in the yard, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Lorino has always supported the local schools, extra-curricular programs, and sports whenever hes had the opportunity. He understands the importance of being involved with and supporting the community, whether it is monetarily or by donating his services. It makes Dr. Lorino feel especially fortunate to give back to those who have supported him over the years.

I work in two areas of our practice, both in the clinical area where I assist Dr. Lorino and at the front desk where I greet patients and answer the phones. The best part of my job is working so closely with children. I love the smiles on their faces when they get to pick out colors for their braces and seeing their smiles unique progression from beginning to end. I create a bond with my patients and love to see the excitement in their eyes as they get closer to their perfect smile. Not only is Dr. Lorino an amazing orthodontist, but he genuinely cares about his staff. He makes coming to work every day a true pleasure.
I have been married for 18 years to my wonderful husband, Dave. We have three beautiful children, Rebecca, Rachel, and Dylan. I enjoy spending my free time in the garden, scrap-booking, and going to the beach. I can most often be found at the basketball, football, and baseball fields watching my children compete.
I work at the front desk as the receptionist for the Wayne and Belleville locations. However, I am also a certified dental assistant so you will see me working in back with the patients as well! I currently teach dental assisting at Fortis Institute, where I can use my training and knowledge I have gained here to education my students. I absolutely love working with Dr. Lorino and his staff! Both Dr. Lorino and Dr. Gigi are amazing orthodontists and always put their patients needs first! I love the inviting atmosphere and the interaction with both the patients and parents. During the treatment time for our patients we get to know each of them better and see their beautiful smile at the end!
I work alongside Dr. Lorino greeting patients, chair-side assisting, taking x-rays, sterilizing, fabricating Essix retainers, pouring and trimming diagnostic models, and delivering oral health care information. I enjoy seeing the transformation in our patients smiles. I also enjoy working with the rest of our dental team they are awesome! I love working with Dr. Lorino because if a patient comes into our office having had a prior consult or dental work from another Dentist, Dr. Lorino never puts down the work or opinion of the other Doctor and this show great integrity. Dr. Lorino is easy going and this makes for a comfortable office and working experience, for his dental team and for his patients.
I am from Southern California and have been living in New Jersey for 5 years with my husband, 2 kids and our dog. I enjoy going to the movies and to concerts. I also enjoy traveling to California and Arizona to visit my family and friends.

I was not a patient of theirs and I had an emergency. My permanent retainer came loose and all it needed was some glue.. however my original orthodontist (who I was never a fan of to begin with) told me she could see me in 2 weeks.. it was rather urgent because the wire was bothering me constantly and also because of my busy schedule. I called at least 13 orthodontists around me and when I thought I lost hope, I called Dr. Lorino. I spoke to the receptionist and she heard my urgency and managed to squeeze me in! I drove as fast as I could and got there and was attended right away! The doctor was soooo caring and super nice! and fixed it in 5 mins! I was honestly blown away and couldn't thank them enough! the only regret I have, is that I wish when I actually had my braces, I would have gone to see him from the beginning... but if this ever happens again, I will DEFINITELY come back in a heartbeat!

I called today, and spoke to Vivivan (I believe her name was, definitely with a V) and she had answered my question and added lots of detail to my situation. I would definitely recommend this place as their staff is very helpful and you can tell they know what they're doing here. Update 2021: I got my braces on 07/11/19 and I get them off tomorrow, 01/07/21 . These people care about you! I can't express this enough. I can finally smile without covering my mouth in shame. Thank you!

Doctor Abey and the staff are super friendly and polite! If I had to do invisalign again I would come here! I'm very pleased how my teeth straighten/aligned.Clean office Doctor Abey is knowledgeable/honest and won't leave the patient disappointed thanks again!!

I came here for a touch-up on some old orthodontic work, but in my limited experience the office is great. The doctor and staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, appointment availability was good, wait time was short, and the orthodontic work was of high quality. Happy to have found this place!

Dr. Abey and his team proved to be exceptional, understanding, and patient. My treatment took about a year and a half, but this was due to my busy schedule as I traveled a lot, and they were understanding. The team treated me like family, especially Dr. Abey and Millie. On various occasions, they called to check in on me between appointments and were always ready to prefer consultations anytime. The result of my treatment was outstanding. I highly recommend Kearny Orthodontics for any orthodontic treatment or procedures.
