Dr. Hale earned his dental degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine after earning his bachelors degree at Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. Prior to entering private practice, he served a residency at the Mayo Clinic and University Medical Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
Dedicated to meeting all of his patients oral care needs under one roof, Dr. Hale invests a great deal of time in continuing education. He is one of only ten Board Certified dentists in the state of Florida to achieve diplomate status with the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the only one in southwest Florida. His training and expertise allow him to offer a multitude of oral appliance options as alternatives to the CPAP machine. He has also had recent training in neuromuscular dentistry, so he can address pain in the jaw, head or neck, functional issues caused by temporomandibular joint disorder, and other concerns. In addition to being a trusted dentist and lecturer, Dr. Hale is also an author! His book on dentistry and the consumer was published in the fall of 2019.
Dr. Hale is an active participant in the community, with 13 years of Rotary service. He loves spending time with his wife, Amy, and their daughter, Kayla, as well as golfing, fishing, camping, and RVing. His travels have taken him to all 50 states!

My teeth have been through a lot of chemo and radiation with my Cancer diagnosis. And that caused a lot of damage. I also have a huge fear of the medical field now. I have put off my dental care because of fear and Anxiety. I even tried to cancel coming and was comforted by Tiffany . I can not express the amount of gratitude and calm I now have after my appointment. The hygienist was so gentle and kind. The dentist was amazing. He brought tears to my eyes. I have a lot of work to do, but I am so excited to be able to smile again. They were compassionate and understanding and a good group of humans. Thank you all so much.

Tiffany was so helpful from the 1st time I called the office, to the day I received my sleep study results! I just moved from Illinois and needed a follow up sleep study. She followed up with me relentlessly and was so helpful! Highly recommend this practice!

From making an appointment, to meeting and dealing with the staff at Smiles by Hale, my experience was flawless. I have very sensitive teeth and have been afraid of dentist offices. The staff at Smiles By Hales are very welcoming, and very helpful in answering any questions you might have. Dr. HALE is so helpful in explaining why things need to be done, and isn't here to break the bank. He actually cares about his patients and their well being, and wants the best for them. He also is Board Certified in Sleep Study to help with Sleep Apnea , how amazing is that. Treat my teeth and my sleep issues. I'm very Pleased I choose him and his wonderful staff to be my Dentist here in Naples Fl.

Unmatched skills all across the board. They will have you in and out before you can get your drink at a fast food restaurant with the highest quality work ever seen. I didnt feel any discomfort or pain through the procedure of both my extractions. Only good things coming from this team. Beautiful work! 10/10

This was my first time at this dental office, as I recently moved from Coral Springs in SE Florida. It was very easy to schedule an appointment and the office was easy to work with. They even reached out to my old dentist to collect my x-rays. The Hygienist did a solid job with my cleaning. Overall it was a great new patient experience and I would highly recommend this office. Dr. Hale has earned my trust as a professional and I'm not the first to recognize this as he has been serving Naples for over 20 years.

They will be able to fit me with a sleep appliance that will make travel an option for me. I am so excited! Even though I have severe sleep apnea and love my bipap, I wanted an option for those places that don't have electricity. Thank you.
