Dr. Karen Glerum is originally from the Baltimore, Maryland area. She holds a degree in Biology from Loyola College in Maryland. She graduated, near the top of her class, from Georgetown University School of Dentistry.
After graduation, Dr. Glerum came to Florida to pursue advanced residency training at the Miami Veterans Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Only 10% of dental graduates in the country are accepted to such advanced training.
Her practice thrives because of its personal service, and commitment to excellence. Dr. Glerum and her staff attend over 200 hours of continuing education each year, and are dedicated to learning the most advanced and well-proven techniques and technologies available.
Dr. Glerum is a member and mentor to local study clubs, and frequently presents advanced cosmetics techniques to local colleagues. She believes that to be an exceptional dentist, one must be a life-long learner, and practices what she preaches!
Dr. Glerum serves the Florida Board of Dentistry as an Expert Reviewer. She helps the board adjudicate cases in which dental treatment is questioned; she therefore knows how to give her patients dental excellence!
Dr. Glerum also believes in giving back to her profession and the public. She was the only woman dentist to ever serve our community as the President of the South Palm Beach County Dental Association. She recently served as President of the Atlantic Coast District Dental Association, and she is a Trustee of the Florida Dental Association.
Dr. Glerum both works and lives in the Boynton Beach area. She is the proud Mom of two daughters. In her spare time, Dr. Glerum enjoys reading, cooking, working out, travel, and most of all being a Mom! After all, motherhood and dentistry are very closely related; both require patience, knowledge, and compassion. She is proud to be a woman dentist in Boynton Beach.

Kelly is a Florida native, born here in West Palm Beach. She has over 20 years experience in the dental field. Kelly is an expert at making patients feel right at home. Kelly received her Expanded Functions for Dental Assisting certificate recently from the University of Florida. This allows her to perform many more functions than most dental assistants. In her spare time, Kelly enjoys painting, country music, the beach, and spending time with her son Mason.
Alinahas more than 22 years of dental experience and has been part of the Smiles By Glerumteam since 2006. She has a true passion to help her patients reach their optimum oral health. In her free time she enjoys the salt life and spending time with family, friends and her dogs. Alinas hobbies are photography, arts and crafts, and reading. I have been a patient of Dr. Glerum's for over 20 years. She does amazing work and is the most honest and caring dentist I have ever seen. I recently moved back to Florida after being away for a few years. I honestly could not wait to get back to this office. I never found another dental office as through and competent as Dr. Glerum. Dr Glerum is a true artist at her craft of dentistry.

THIS OFFICE IS A SCAM. I WENT TO THIS OFFICE TO GET A FEW CAVITIES FILLED. THEY WERE ALL VERY NICE IN THE BEGINNING. THIS OFFICE DID "WAY MORE" THAN WHAT NEEDED TO BE DONE. THEY BILLED MY INSURANCE COMPANY AND TOOK MONEY FROM ME. EVERY TIME I WENT I PAID MY BILL. SO IN APRIL I WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A CROWN. BOTH MY INSURANCE AND MYSELF PAID FOR IT. HERE TODAY IS AND I STILL HAVE MY TEMPORARY CROWN IN MY MOUTH. YES, EVERY SINCE APRIL. I CALLED TO ASK ABOUT MY CROWN BECAUSE MY TEETH HAS BE HURTING EVERY SINCE I WENT TO THIS OFFICE. BEFORE GOING THERE I HAD NO PAIN. WELL KELLY WHO BY THE WAY WAS REALLY RUDE AND YELLING AT ME ON THE PHONE (I THINK HER DADDY ISSUES PLAYS A LOT IN THE WAY SHE TALKS TO AND TREAT PEOPLE.) I HAVE THAT RECORDED CALL. THIS OFFICE REFUSED TO PUT MY CROWN IN MY MOUTH BECAUSE I REFUSE TO CONTIUNE TREATMENT THERE. BUT MIND YOU MY CROWN IS PAID FOR IN FULL. SHE TELLS ME I HAVE A BALANCE OF $1,1100. WHICH IS ABSORB BECAUSE I'VE PAID WELL OVER $2,000 OUT OF MY POCKET. NOT INCLUDING WHAT MY INSURANCE COMPANY ALREADY PAID. SO THEY ARE HOLDING MY CROWN HOSTAGE. THIS PLACE HAS STOLE SO MUCH MONEY FROM ME. I CALLED MY INSURANCE COMAPNY AND EXPLAINED THE SITUTION. THEY WILL BE DOING AN INVESTIGATION. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. STAY AWAY. FIND AN HONEST DENTIST TO GO TO.

Dr. Glerum is a wonderful dentist! I just had the best cleaning of my life at her office. The ladies on staff were very nice and receptive. The atmosphere in the office is warm and inviting. They even offer you a blanket if you're cold! Dr. Glerum was very kind and went over my treatment options with me in a way that was easily understood. I am so happy to have found such an amazing dentist!

Dr. Glerum has been my dentist for many, many years. I've referred friends and family and they're always so grateful. I did visit the office just today and as usual I was treated so well. Dr. Glerum and all her staff have been AMAZING to work with for the last several years! I've tried other places always issues and rip offs... This office goes above and beyond for the clients who come in! I personally fly from the West Coast just to get treated there because I wouldn't have the same care and treatment anywhere else. They are not only caring but honest. Show you different courses of actions and let you decide how you'd like to proceed with everything on the table, financing is available for zero interest if you have care credit (CANT BEAT THAT) I recommend them strongly to anyone who wants a dentist like Dr.Glerum who will be nothing but honest and her staff who makes everyone there feel so welcomed! They have never steered me wrong once in several years of coming out for various dental appointments and Botox too! Love this place!!!! If I could give it a 10 star I would!

I could not be happier with the service I have received at Smiles by Glerum. Dr. Glerum is professional and knowledgeable, and her work is just downright amazing! She goes above and beyond to provide the best service to each one of her clients. Her staff are friendly and organized and I always leave her office feeling fresh and clean. I have been fortunate to find Dr Glerum and her wonderful staff 15 years ago. My dental suggestions and professional care by the team is amazing. I am treated for my individual needs and this is a clean friendly office. Dr Glerum is honest and my appointments are always on time. She wants her patients health and comfort to come 1st This is not a volume office with a full waiting room and she never runs late. They all care about you and listen to your concerns.
